We drove almost an hour to experience this restaurant. The food was pretty good, the food presentation nice. The service was really slow, and this was at 5pm, even though quite knowledgeable, I noticed the layout of the patio area, the staff has no convenience service areas, which means they have to run back inside, down the stairs to get to the bar and again to get the drink to the customer. Our plates remained empty on the table way longer than they should have, again no service areas for the staff to clear tables which lead to more bugs annoyance than needed. I felt the staff was killing themselves to overcome such obstacles. The restroom for ladies definitely needs cleaning, the lights are very low, but still noticeable. The items for sale are interesting, unique and that was fun. The very worst part of the night, in the middle of our dessert, with cocktails yet to be finished, not yet received our bill, we were ask by the owner to leave our table because they had another reservation there. What! She said we could sit on the benches. Unbelievable. I will never return based on that reason alone. Boone told us when we made the reservation that we would have a time limit. How rude.

This is my favorite spot for an outdoor elegant lunch. After you eat, it’s super fun to go and stroll through and look at all of the beautiful things inside and outside. The garden patio is the ideal seating area with beautiful birds and flowers to enjoy while you eat Your lunch. Another great element is the food. I love their Reuben sandwich. Their salads are always good and the daily soup is pretty good too.

Food was fabulous. However they appeared to be under staffed. We had reservations for 10 and one waitress for the entire area. We had to wait over 15 minutes just to order our drinks then wait another 15 to get them. Wasn't the waitress fault, she did her best to keep up. Other than the wait times that wasn't her fault it was a pleasant time.

Only complaint about the food was the chicken salad was too dry. Everything else was very good. The only reason I scored so low on atmosphere was because of the dozens of flies. We had to constantly try to keep them off our food. A waitress gave another table a fan to sit on the table to keep the flies away. It worked. Our waitress walked by numerous times and saw us swatting but never said anything about a fan. We saw the fan too late or would have asked for one. We were offered drink refills after we finished our meals.

If you're looking for that English garden vibe and really good food, this is the place to go. The carrot cake was heavenly and the ribeye was perfectly cooked. I didn't even need a steak knife to cut into it! It was so tender!!
