V's Italiano Ristorante

Have been coming for 30 plus years and hooked on chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Last night my noodles had zero sauce. Waiter Shawn was very apologetic. Returned with my dish to an unfortunate discovery. The sauce was not the original Alfredo not near Alfredo. It was purely a cheese flavor with hint of flour like you pour from a jar or make Mac-n-cheese and over saturated the noodles. Shawn admitted the recently changed the recipe. Game changer for me to not return in near future. Staff, please don’t change what works. Momma V would be sad.

Sweet Italian restaurant with amazing service! All the staff were so attentive. Have Sunday brunch! Pasta Alfredo, salmon, fruit & pastries were my favorites. Also the bottomless mimosas 😍

Absolutely Perfect Experience – 10 Stars!

We chose V's to host a rehearsal dinner, and it was an absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. We were planning this from out of town, but Greg made everything so easy—and I have to say, they are very reasonable as well.

The food was absolutely delicious! The exceptional staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and that our guests felt welcomed and cared for.

The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and ideal for such a special occasion. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate. Thank you, V’s, for making our evening unforgettable!

Love this place! Family owned and operated, many of the staff have been there for more than a decade, they love serving their great family recipes and making memories with their guests. A must try in KC!

Atmosphere was nice. Servers were nice. The food however was over priced for how mediocre it ended up being. The presentation could also use some improvement. I ordered the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer, it came out on a plate.
I asked for my salad to have no cheese specifically, it came with cheese on it. The salad presentation alone looked like those old high school lunches from back in the day. That was corrected immediately so that I'm thankful for. However I was in the mood to have the gluten free fettuccine con pollo. The noodles I could tell were gluten free but I can't say with confidence that the sauce was the same. It made my stomach turn So I wasn't comfortable finishing that dish.

If you're looking for a dark Italian restart where you can have secret or private meetings, this is the place. The lunch buffet can't be beat, for $16 you get three courses, plus bread! The service is amazing. I had a sorority winter social here in 1994, and it hasn't changed at all. I went her for a fancy dinner when I was a little girl and it hasn't changed. If you want a scene out of The Sopranos, consistency, excellent food and service for reasonable prices, this is your place!
