“As soon as you walk in the fresh baked smell hits you if the face in a good way. I went in to buy cookies and left with 2 huge bags of different baked goods for the family to try. The cinnamon rolls and hand held pies were amazing. They also have homemade jellies and trinkets to purchase.”
“The owner, Shirley Harrington, has ran this place for decades!!! She is always very welcoming and friendly - just a really great lady! The Jamesport Tavern is nothing fancy, but it is a great place to mingle with the locals and relax with a cold beer.”
“Stopped off and bought two beautiful cutting boards, couldn't find any like them in any of the other stores we visited. They have yummy pies, breads and sweet handmaid baskets all signed by the children who made them! Cash only so be prepared. The owner is very sweet.Parking: Park right in front of house/store”
“Floor plan doesn't allow for people to wait for tables without blocking tables. The buffet is also very close to rest rooms and service area.Seems a resigned floor plan would be more accommodating and less chaotic.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance has ramp but again no place to stage waiting guests.”
“If you have the chance to go to Jamesport stop by and check it out food and pies are very good and worth the time we ordered the Rubens and they were very good and thick prices were pretty good for these times and it was a welcome relief pies are like grandma used to make!”
“I only get one drink. Salted caramel frappe it’s the best right up there with scooters they also make it the way you want it. Oh but the fudge they make So many flavors and mouthwatering I’m not a fudge person but this stuff is awesome they also make a few breakfast items I’ve had their biscuits and gravy it’s good too”
