Cute place. I love buying bread there. And they have fudge. But sometimes the cofeee is good sometimes it isn’t good at all. It’s like Dunkin’ Donuts. And the customer service makes me so uncomfortable. There’s no “hello” , they don’t even look at you, my drink was so full it was spilling and she just said “guess you need some napkins” and walked away. I don’t plan to go back for a long time.

Had coffee after lunch, and it was just ok. Espresso was a strange request which was amusing. Indoors was a bit dark and eclectric mix of things, displays and decor, needs to be more organized.
Special thing to note was the ramp at the door to accommodate wheelchairs. It's not a very common sight.

I use to look forward to picking up a latte at Bricktown Coffee whenever I was in Jamesport. However, their prices have gotten so sky high I no longer stop by Bricktown as often as I'd like to. The last time I visited Bricktown in January, I was stunned to be charged just a little under $7 for a standard plain venti hot latte (I believe the exact price was $6.72). I thought I'd misheard at first so I asked for the total again to make sure, and unfortunately, the price I had heard was correct. And since I had just paid $5.69 for the exact same size venti plain latte at the Scooter's in Smithville, MO, early that same day, I couldn't help but feel I was being price-gouged. In fact, of all the dozens of Starbucks, Scooter's and numerous locally-owned venti lattes I've bought over the last year or so - from Denver to Little Rock to Omaha - Bricktown's coffee remains the most expensive one I've ever purchased. Since I liked Bricktown so much, I tried to rationalize to myself why a latte would be so expensive in little ol' Jamesport....i.e. maybe franchise coffee places could absorb the rising cost of supplies, coffee beans, etc. whereas maybe locally-owned places like Bricktown had to pass on rising costs....but ultimately I came away feeling I'd been ripped off, which bummed me out to no end. Besides, Kingdom Coffee, a great little coffee place just down the road in Cameron, MO is locally-owned and their same size latte is priced just under $5.00.

Second visit to this coffee shop. The coffee is good but service is not. The first visit it was mediocre. Second visit the barista barely spoke other than to ask if I wanted my latte iced or hot. I told her hot but she didn’t steam the milk and handed me a cold latte. When I pointed out that I wanted a hot latte she made a new one with steamed milk but didn’t speak a word - no apology, no thank you, no have a nice day - nothing.
