We have worked with A Catered Affair on several occasions and they are our favorite caterer!! The food is delicious, presentation was lovely, and the service was exceptional! They are so accommodating with food allergies as well without it impacting the flavor. They always seem to go above and beyond!

My friends booked them for their wedding caterer and 4 hours before the ceremony, Mark's ex wife called them and told them she couldn't get ahold of Mark and that he wouldn't be showing up for the wedding. My friends had to call around frantically ON THEIR WEDDING DAY to find another caterer. No bride should have this type of stress on her wedding day. I also have a family member who said she used to work there and when Mark took over, she left because he was doing this to people and she couldnt work for a company who was not reliable and taking money from people and not delivering the service. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS CATERER.

I hired A Catered Affair for my wedding they did a fantastic job! I had to reschedule my wedding do the medical issues and they were amazing and worked with us! The food was delicious and the service was great! The bartenders were incredible and were dancing while serving drinks! Definitely recommend them to anyone who wants great service!

If I could give 10 stars I would! Mark was knowledgeable and extremely helpful from start to finish! I contacted A Catered Affair, one week prior to our event and they pulled through with flying colors. The food was exceptional and the drop off service was seamless. Every single person who attended our event, asked where the food came from, that is high praise from a picky bunch. I would highly recommend A Catered Affair for your next catering need. 10/10!!!

Hired them to cater my wedding as well as provide the staff to serve everyone and all of the dishes, silverware and glassware. Paid the deposit when we signed the contract. I tried contacting them repeatedly a few weeks before the wedding to finalize the menu and couldn't reach them. I called and emailed many times. 10 days before my large wedding they sent a message saying they were closed. The owner kept telling me my deposit refund was in the mail and I still haven't received it 2 years later. I have contacted him multiple times over the last 2 years asking for him to return my money and he will not respond. Please be careful if dealing with them.

When I called a catered affair months before my wedding they answered all my questions and were very professional. Fast forward to a week before my wedding and they were ignoring me so I went ahead and found another caterer luckily! Then two days before my wedding they emailed me back saying “a catered affair is temporarily closed” that’s it. No I’m sorry or nothing and they still have not given me a refund for my deposit. I get life happens but how terrible to not only give people no notice you’re not coming but take their hard earned money too. So unprofessional and classless. I do not recommend using them!

Two weeks before the wedding, and they nonchalantly told us that they will not be able to cater our event. At least I have time to find a new one where is as I’m reading other reviewer’s that Mark Coe and his workers were a no-show to a fully paid wedding. It’s just shameful.

MARK FROM A CATERED AFFAIR/CATERING SERVICES COLUMBIA IS WHO THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT. The caterer didn’t even show up to my cousin’s wedding despite being PAID IN FULL!!! Mark didn’t even bother to call and cancel. One staff member showed up on time and then ended up leaving because the caterer didn’t respond. Mark failed to respond to multiple texts or calls on the day of the event. My cousin could see the “read” alerts on the messages after she sent them. I can’t help but feel as though this was intentional. Mark’s behavior was very unprofessional, unacceptable, and disappointing. My heart broke for my cousin as she had to figure out how to feed guests at the last minute on her special day. I would never recommend this company to anyone. 8/17/23: How can this place possibly have a 4.8 review when they stiffed my cousin just a few weeks ago? Mark just tried to lie to a potential client about the reviews regarding my cousin’s wedding stating they were not about him. Shameful. I hope no one rolls the dice with these scammers ever again.

Unfortunately we know the reason…. it’s sad & they should be ashamed of themselves need to spread love & NOT HATE. They keep creating new page ls not taking responsibility
