A Catered Affair catered an event we attended this week and the food was fantastic! Well seasoned and cooked perfectly. My family enjoyed everything we had and would highly recommend them to anyone.

When I called a catered affair months before my wedding they answered all my questions and were very professional. Fast forward to a week before my wedding and they were ignoring me so I went ahead and found another caterer luckily! Then two days before my wedding they emailed me back saying “a catered affair is temporarily closed” that’s it. No I’m sorry or nothing and they still have not given me a refund for my deposit. I get life happens but how terrible to not only give people no notice you’re not coming but take their hard earned money too. So unprofessional and classless. I do not recommend using them!

Two weeks before the wedding, and they nonchalantly told us that they will not be able to cater our event. At least I have time to find a new one where is as I’m reading other reviewer’s that Mark Coe and his workers were a no-show to a fully paid wedding. It’s just shameful.

MARK FROM A CATERED AFFAIR/CATERING SERVICES COLUMBIA IS WHO THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT. The caterer didn’t even show up to my cousin’s wedding despite being PAID IN FULL!!! Mark didn’t even bother to call and cancel. One staff member showed up on time and then ended up leaving because the caterer didn’t respond. Mark failed to respond to multiple texts or calls on the day of the event. My cousin could see the “read” alerts on the messages after she sent them. I can’t help but feel as though this was intentional. Mark’s behavior was very unprofessional, unacceptable, and disappointing. My heart broke for my cousin as she had to figure out how to feed guests at the last minute on her special day. I would never recommend this company to anyone. 8/17/23: How can this place possibly have a 4.8 review when they stiffed my cousin just a few weeks ago? Mark just tried to lie to a potential client about the reviews regarding my cousin’s wedding stating they were not about him. Shameful. I hope no one rolls the dice with these scammers ever again.

I wish I could give zero stars but here we are… Paid in full for services that we never received on the wedding day (no call no show). Unfortunately we know the reason…. it’s sad & they should be ashamed of themselves need to spread love & NOT HATE. They keep creating new page ls not taking responsibility

This place RUINED my friends wedding day. They were supposed to be at the venue at 1pm to host a cocktail hour prior to the ceremony. One of their crew showed up at noon, saying he was instructed to meet the rest of his team however, they never showed and this crew member ended up leaving at 12:50. Multiple calls were made to them only to have them answer and hang up right away. The bride was continuingly texting Mark and he saw the messages but never responded. The bridal party had to run cocktail hour instead of getting pictures.
Mark and his team were supposed to set up for the reception after the ceremony, run the bar, provide dinner, and clean up after. But they never showed so all the wedding guests had to set up for the reception. The best man was able to get Bandanas BBQ to cater last minute. The bride and groom were unable to serve their drink menu and the bridal party helped to serve food and bartend for the rest of the night. We didn't even have plates or silverware because MARK WAS SUPPOSED TO BRING THEM. We then had to clean the venue after.
This whole thing put the wedding events off by hours and turned the night into chaos. We STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM MARK AND HIS TEAM. Please do not use this company as they will leave you high and dry with ZERO communication or care.
A Catered Affair provided a delicious lunch for our Annual Lobby Day meeting. We had several compliments on the quality of the food and Mark and his staff were great to work with. We look forward to using A Catered Affair for other events.

5 Stars for our awesome experience with A Catered Affair. The food was super tasty and full of flavor, and Mark and his staff were great to work with. Everything turned out exactly the way they promised! Mark helped me with the food selections and patiently answered my hundreds of questions. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them at my next event!

My non-profit organization has used A Catered Affair for our annual awards luncheon for over 3 years and have never been disappointed. They work frequently at the venue we host at which also makes things easier. The food is always delicious and hot and the presentation is clean, and they even assist with cleanup of the tables.The team helped us create a menu that is hearty but friendly to all dietary needs and it was so popular last year that we decided to serve it again in 2023 (The mushroom ravioli is AMAZING!). Although we request RSVPs, our final attendee numbers are always unpredictable. I never want to see any food go to waste. When we ended up with lots of leftovers, A Catered Affair was prepared with take home containers! We were able to send our guests home with dinner and package up some of the food for donation to a food ministry. I will continue to book A Catered Affair every year for our awards luncheon. They are great to work with!

The food was absolutely delicious, everyone loved it and continues to talk about it. They were wonderful to work with and we appreciate all they did.
