“This was by far the best meal I've had in all my visits to MO! The salmon was perfectly cooked, the strawberry pecan salad was well dressed and full of strawberries , cheese and pecans. The parmesan fries are abundant and delicious and the strawberry shortcake was a light fluffy delight to top off the meal. Lots left for tomorrow too! “We came down to Jeff city for a birthday steak celebration with my Mom who transplanted herself there about two years ago. We had a bad experience and left another popular steak house and wandered into O’Donoghues’s on a busy Saturday night. We were treated like royalty! The food was exceptional. My Mother had the Lobster and a Filet, I had the Filet and my husband had the Sirloin. Everything was delicious and prepared with expertise. The bread, can I talk about the focaccia?????? It was so good. Our waitstaff was very busy with two parties at the same time, but managed to make us feel like we belonged there. Nothing makes a meal quite like being treated like family. Thank you so much. My hubby, my kid and I drove 7 hours, checked into our hotel, picked up my mother and drove straight into the downtown area. We were exhausted and left feeling full, filled with love and absolutely can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you to everyone working 11/22/25. Great Job!”

“I went in today for the first time and had the pleasure of meeting the owner. She told me that this is a family owned business, and she brings her son in with her, who happened to be sleeping in the back at the time. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of my questions. While I was there, another lady came in, and was greeted by name. I love that they get to have a business while raising their son, and they clearly love people and want to help them. Their products are all clean and so good for you, also delicious! I can’t wait to go back, I highly recommend you go here instead of scooters or smoothie king. 😊”

“We recently chose Lutz’s BBQ for our catering. We ordered for 20 guest, and had plenty food leftover for our guest to have a second plate later that evening. The smoked meats were cooked to perfection, the creamy coleslaw was the best I have ever had, and the cheesy potatoes casserole was a huge hit. You can’t go wrong with anything from their menu. “Phenomenal venue for a wedding! The place is reasonably priced and can comfortably accommodate ~200 guests. If there are a lot of families and children on your guest list, the playground will be a major hit. There is ample parking and the kitchen is top-tier whether preparing your own food or bringing in a catering company. Our experiences with the Lions Club volunteers were always pleasant and we didn't encounter any other issues. Again, I'd highly recommend this venue for a wedding!”

Service is always friendly, but it’s not always easy to order if you have any special request or just want à la carte ( just because English is usually their 2nd language). Most days, they are great about checking in for refills or anything extra that’s needed, even after you get your food. I’d prefer to have the option to choose my seat, because we always seem to get stuck in the same corner booth in a smaller hallway away from the main dining room. Maybe that’s where they put their parties of two. Regardless, we go back because the food is awesome.”
