“We came down to Jeff city for a birthday steak celebration with my Mom who transplanted herself there about two years ago. We had a bad experience and left another popular steak house and wandered into O’Donoghues’s on a busy Saturday night. We were treated like royalty! The food was exceptional. My Mother had the Lobster and a Filet, I had the Filet and my husband had the Sirloin. Everything was delicious and prepared with expertise. The bread, can I talk about the focaccia?????? It was so good. Our waitstaff was very busy with two parties at the same time, but managed to make us feel like we belonged there. Nothing makes a meal quite like being treated like family. Thank you so much. My hubby, my kid and I drove 7 hours, checked into our hotel, picked up my mother and drove straight into the downtown area. We were exhausted and left feeling full, filled with love and absolutely can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you to everyone working 11/22/25. Great Job!”

“I have been missing Indian food since moving home after living in KC for almost 10 years. I was so thrilled when this place opened. Even my husband loves it and has requestes this on date nights. We’ve had the chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo and both were amazing. We also love the naan. Everything we’ve had has been delicious. The restaurant itself is clean and staff friendly. She told me that this is a family owned business, and she brings her son in with her, who happened to be sleeping in the back at the time. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of my questions. While I was there, another lady came in, and was greeted by name. I love that they get to have a business while raising their son, and they clearly love people and want to help them. Their products are all clean and so good for you, also delicious! “We booked Green Leaf’s private tea room and had them cater food for a tea party themed baby shower and it was absolutely perfect! Brandy went so ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted. The food and tea being delicious was the cherry on top. “Yesterday was my husband's birthday. He decided he wanted pizza for dinner. I suggested Pizza Haus as I have tried it before and loved it, but he has never had it. We ate at the restaurant and the service was wonderful! I was a bit nervous to see if he liked it because he is super picky. But He LOVED it!!! This is a huge win, because he doesn't really like any other pizza place we've tried locally. Our 2 sons loved it too and could not stop eating. “Phenomenal venue for a wedding! The place is reasonably priced and can comfortably accommodate ~200 guests. If there are a lot of families and children on your guest list, the playground will be a major hit. There is ample parking and the kitchen is top-tier whether preparing your own food or bringing in a catering company. Our experiences with the Lions Club volunteers were always pleasant and we didn't encounter any other issues. Again, I'd highly recommend this venue for a wedding!”

Brayden was very patient waiting for our difficult order to be communicated (two younger picky allergy children) and never once got annoyed. Eliseo worked hard to ensure we received our entire order the first time and it was AMAZING!! 10/10 on the tuna for sure. And the younger guy was working very hard to make sure the entire restaurant was clean even taking the additional chair we used!! Tonight was a great experience!”

“We are in Jefferson City for work and have always loved Colton's Steak House & Grill when we come to Jeff City. We’ve been going there for years and honestly have never had any issues before tonight. After a long day at work we decided to order DoorDash instead of coming in to dine.
My husband ordered the hamburger steak, just like he always does, and he likes to use steak sauce with it. I tried to order steak sauce on the app but it wasn’t listed anywhere, and there was no option for notes either. So I called the restaurant thinking it would be a simple fix.
The girl who answered told me they couldn’t send steak sauce because we would have to pay for it, which honestly was completely fine with us. But then she said we couldn’t pay over the phone for it and the only way to get it was to come into the restaurant and purchase it ourselves. WHAT IN THE WORLD?? This is a steakhouse, and when we dine inside we’ve never been charged for steak sauce before.
I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were busy. After being placed on hold for a few minutes, she came back and said, “I will do it this time but it won’t happen again so please don’t ask.”
I honestly can’t believe this happened. We have always loved this place and never had any problems before. The food is still great, but the way this was handled really hurt my feelings and honestly just left my heart sad tonight.”

“The best Chinese food I had in Jefferson City, but you need to know a few things. There is no sit down dining here. It is completely mothballed inside. The only way to get food is to walk in, order, and wait for carry out. Unfortunately, they don't even have a working phone, so this is the only way. I think the food is worth it though, and fairly priced.”

For me, the food is far less important than the service received. Trinity and Amanda made sure I never had an empty cup, and they were not afraid to have conversations with me. They were the epitome of service with a smile and have ensured that any time I'm in the Jefferson City area that I will be eating here.

I ate here for dinner last night and got the Cajun shrimp pasta. The lights were dimmed for the evening amd the ambiance was wonderful. The music is not too loud, so you can still have a conversation. I then ate here for breakfast and the continental breakfast is the best that I've ever had. They have a wide variety of options and all of them are high quality. One major tell of a breakfast, is the type of bacon they serve. This restaurant has the best, thickest bacon I've seen. The food was delicious. I'm blown away by this restaurant but more importantly, by its team. 10/10 great job guys.”
