“Amazing little ice cream shop with Central Dairy ice cream. We were the last customers of the night visiting there on a friend’s recommendation to try the bacon sundae. I ended up wanting Moose Tracks in a waffle cone, and they sprinkled some bacon in a cup to dip my cone in. Best treat ever! It was so good and the bacon was warm and caramelized.”

The young lady at the counter not only helped us but also checked in on us several times throughout the meal. “I’ve only had a chance to eat here one time so far, but I have to say, the strawberry pecan salad was the best I’ve had anywhere. They were short staffed, which any business owner can vouch, it is so hard to find good help, but the owner was there working and went to the back to I assume help prep the food, they were pretty busy, with just two people working and she was kind and friendly the entire time. I think the bad reviews on here are bogus, like not real. There’s no way. Food is great, customer service was great, and it was a stressful time when I was in there, so to me that’s testimony to being able to perform under pressure with the best of them. I look forward to trying their Buffalo burger and some of the other unique menu items. Keep up the good work. California, MO needs you!!”

“Obie's is a hidden gem for thin crust pizza. Small operation in an old style pool hall. They pile on the ingredients. Sweet people making delicious pizza. Best in Jeff City in my opinion and about 10% cheaper too. Shoot a game or have a beer while you wait!!”

“Very, very good food. The Pig Candy (candied bacon) is life changing and I'm pretty sure it will haunt my dreams until I go back. The steak was on point. The burger was very good and very generous amount of fries. I took a sip of the Bloody Mary (bonus candied bacon!) and it was delicious and not spicy, which I dig. The pickle in the Bloody Mary tied the flavor together very nicely. Friendly and welcoming folks there, too, and you get to see your dinner grazing behind the building. :D The hours are limited, but trust me - it's worth it. We went a bit ham today because we were celebrating something, but you could easily get out of there for $75 for 2 people for a nice dinner out. Not to be missed.”

“It was super busy at Pizza Haus in St. Martins tonight and only ONE waitress and a trainee waitress (her second shift). Brooke (i think was the waitress’s name) did an AMAZING JOB! Wow! Tables full, patio full, we had a party of 15 and she kept a smile on her face even though she was in a very stressful situation! Cooks were struggling which also falls on the waitress. Brooke you KILLED IT! I would hire you in a heartbeat!”

“Everything about this place just feels like home! The owners are very down to earth and inviting. The food, the outdoor area, customers and atmosphere was very friendly, warm, and enjoyable.
