“This place is wonderful. Excellent coffee, cappuccinos, and lattes. The breakfast style menu is tremendous. Avocado toast, fresh pastries like cinnamon buns and homemade pop tarts. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this bakery. Whether you're in the mood for a coffee or breakfast, this is the spot. If you're passing through the capital or heading to the Lake of the Ozarks, this is the spot.Parking: Narrow street, not an abundance of parking spaces. “Arrived on a weeknight around 7pm with no line or wait. The creamery shares space with the Great American Cookie Company. They offer several rich flavors that are "smashed" together on a cooled marble slab. You can get a cup or cone with add-ins like candy, and nuts. They also offer cakes and ice cream to go.“

“I have been to Chez Monet a few times the past few months and every time I'm greeted with a smile and very good food. My favorite is their BLT, it's simple but tastes great. Their pastries are really good also! Chez Monet is definitely worth trying.“
“Been a while since I’ve been to a Perkins, and my boyfriend and I came for brunch on a Sunday. Upon walking in they were very busy, but you could see everyone working hard and together. There was a little wait at the door and some other guests were very impatient and rude but it was no problem as we saw them taking care of everyone in an orderly fashion. June sat us and made sure to grab our drinks right away, she told us she is the hostest with the mostest, and we agreed!! She made sure to let us know she is also the baker and that they had fresh baked goods available. Lainey was our server, she had a lot of tables and was moving quick and efficiently. She was very kind and took great care of us, even making sure to grab me extra stuff I kept requesting with a smile.I’ve worked in food for many years and this location definitely has some great team members. The store was really clean, their uniforms were nice, and even though they were busy the staff kept their composure. Only saw the manager at cash once though in over an hour? Maybe she was busy in the kitchen, but would have been nice if they were doing table touches as we wanted to boast about June and Lainey!“
“The owners Trish & Derek are the nicest people. Tanner, who works there is very nice. Trish is a talented baker. She makes the most beautiful yummy goodies. Thankfully they even offer gluten-free goodies. They have delicious coffee. The atmosphere is quaint and charming & inviting. I always look forward to going here.“
