The owner and staff were excellent. We stayed after dinner and did karaoke. They really made us feel like family. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a true German experience. Loved it.
We went here for my wife’s birthday. We had been here before but it had been years ago. It took awhile to get the food because it was made specifically for you. This was fine. Overall the food was good. I especially liked the way they cooked the cabbage.The one issue we had was with the salad dressing. It was a homemade house salad dressing. It was extremely thin and milky. The problem was that my wife is lactose intolerant and we think the dressing contained a lot of milk....read full review

Helmut Steiner waited on us throughout the evening, which was a treat. We spend a weekend near Jefferson City once a year or so & always eat our special dinner at the Steinhaus. The food was delicious! Wish I could bring my parents here. The German songs playing in the background plus all the paintings & decor remind me of the years I spent living in Germany.
