Based on the reviews, Red Wheel Steam House is a gem in Jefferson City. It is a great venue with friendly staff who are kind, knowledgeable, and an absolute joy to talk to. The coffee and matcha lattes are fantastic, beautifully crafted, and spot-hitting. The coffee, specialty drinks, cocktails, and pastries are always amazing. The Lavendar Haze was good and very refreshing, and the Espresso Martini was delicious. The atmosphere is consistently welcoming and friendly. The actual building is very small with limited seating, but there is a wonderful outside seating area with a chill patio vibe and a gentle river breeze. They also offer barista classes. Whether stopping in off the Katy Trail for bike tools and local information or just for a latte with a view of the Capitol dome, it is absolutely worth the visit.
