Awesome place and an intimate viewing experience. A lore more foreign and indie movies are played here. What’s nice is you can go right next door to cork and board and bring your drinks and food for a feel like you’re at home. Seating is great with comfy chairs.

It took me too long to visit this place. It's fantastic!Everything about it feels like a unique movie experience. I thought the seats were fantastic, allowing people to lounge with freedom.The small theater room size seemed ideal for screen size and intimacy, so the view was good.I'll definitely be returning for more films.

My mother found this for my husband and I as a place to hold a very small reception following our intimate wedding ceremony. The Cinema partnered with Cork & Board next door to provide us excellent service at a completely reasonable price. Truly it was an amazing end to an amazing day!

Such wonderful people run this theater!This is a nicely renovated historic downtown building with vintage atmosphere.Extremely comfortable seats. The venue is kind of like a large but cozy home theater setup with digital projector.In 2021, they are playing a classic or vintage movie every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm.I recommend a membership.CORK & Board is connected to the Capitol City Cinema. If you order food and/or drinks, you can take it into the theater while watching a movie (if you purchased tickets).
We like this restaurant. They have just reopened with a new decor and a new menu. We ordered the fish and chips. Three large filets per order - couldn't eat them all, so am looking forward to lunch where I'll finish eating them. The chips (fries) were ordinary. Could have been cooked longer to add some crunchiness to them

The Cork is great for dining in, but, I wondered how they would be for take-out/ home delivery. Answer: they are exceptional. It was our anniversary and I wanted to provide excellent food for my lovely spouse. Two perfectly cooked and seasoned strip steaks with a choice of roasted potato or sweet potato mash. The salads were generous and had just the right amount of house-dressing. They have several options for desserts. I chose 'wedding cupcakes'. Appropriate and delicious for the occasion. Awesome non-profit cinema. Connecting to Cork next door so you can get an adult beverage too. Love this cinema. So glad we have this in Jeff City!

I’ve been there twice and both events were amazing! The atmosphere is intimate, but crazy, in a good way, at the Drag shows! Good energy from the entertainers and the crowds—no judgment! I would definitely recommend a night out that involves attending one of their events or a private event. I’m on the lookout for the show! Join me and let’s have some fun!!!
