A fun experience if you come from Germany. Fulfills pretty much every American cliché about Germany. The food tastes pretty good so far. The composition is sometimes a bit "interesting", but in any case something different from the usual "standard" American restaurants.

Incredibly delicious! The smoked pork chop and roulade were amazing. Mom had the ham hock for her birthday dinner. So much amazing food and the service was tremendous, attentive and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful dinning experience.
This is hands down the best food I have had in a long time. We were in town shooting a feature film and were told we had to come by this place if we got a chance. We showed up pretty close to closing time, but Lori insisted we could stay and gave us the best hospitality and food we have ever had! Helmut is an incredible human being as well and gave us a tour of his lovely restaurant and had every single one of us laughing the entire time. This isn’t a stop by if you’re on your way through town sort of place, it’s a destination all on its own. Many of us are already talking about driving out from Kansas City in the near future for some more of this amazing food and hospitality. You will absolutely not regret this place!!! I would give it 100 stars if I could.

This place was great! I cleaned my plate of everything other than the sauerkraut. I did eat most of it. The prices are pretty steep, but the pork chop was AMAZING! Good German food if you are into that. It is a little dark inside. It's probably a good date atmosphere more than family time.

Food was poor but with Great Service. Appetizer of meatballs was simply TV dinner prepared in brown gravy so salty it was hardly eatable. Bread slices where warmed in microwave and tuff/chewy. Party of 3 ordered main course of German Sampler, my smoked pork chop smelled and tasted to be spoiled, i spit it out. The beef rouladen was supper dry and smothered on the same over salty gravy as the meat ball appetizer, Weiner Schnitzel was very bland, another guest in party said his had a spoiled taste and spit it out. Potatoes was ok and the cabbage tasted off.. I have traveled Germany and eat Bavarian food and this is a poor attempt. My opinion and experience was shared by the other 2 in the party.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Went there recently and totally loved it. My Beef Rouladen with red cabbage and potatoes were like being transported back to Germany. My dinner partner’s Sauerbraten was excellent. We took carrot cake to go and it was so delicious. Loved the atmosphere and our host was delightful.
