Have you ever considered driving 4 hours out of state on the weekend to eat somewhere? I can say I have with Ecco Lounge. I’ve been twice, both during trips to do a ghost hunt at Missouri State Penitentiary. I am so in love with Ecco Lounge that I am daydreaming about it! The atmosphere is incredible. I love the historic, old school vibes-it makes it comfortable but also there’s a lot to learn about the history! The staff is always friendly. One of the waitresses even recognized us last time from the year before! The food is the cherry on top. I haven’t had a single item there I didn’t absolutely love and I must say, the prices are super fair for the portions you get! So much cheaper than many other places! If you’re looking for historic vibes and amazing food served with a smile, Ecco Lounge is where you need to eat. If there’s any wait at all, I promise it is well worth it.

This place is absolutely adorable and has such a great atmosphere. Amazing food that I am now addicted to. Kiersten was our waitress tonight and she greeted us with a smile. She was quick to take our order, seat us, and bring us our order. Amazing atmosphere, people, and food. Definitely worth 5 stars! Eat the bbq bacon burger with waffle frys!Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and old music playing. Fantastic family place.

Great place to eat! Enjoyed learning about the history of Ecxo and the interior has such a cool vibe. We tried the Cowboy Burger, Moose Burger, Bacon Cheddar Burger, and Chicken Strips. All of the food was fantastic!

Someone will be with you shortly. That is how u acknowledge the customer who has been standing right in front of you for ten minutes. Not even eye contact and a smile. When we FINALLY seated we were ignored while others were seated ten minutes after us and order taken within 5 minutes and we have yet to be acknowledged. As someone still learning about this beautiful city I was told this was a great place with friendly people but I guess it’s all about who you know. We washed out after 20 with out so much as a smile. Shame on you. Do better.

O.K., let's get this out of the way--I LOVE this place! I love the food. I love the ambiance. I love the people. Why? See below ...If you're the type that likes to enjoy a cold one, they have plenty on tap from which to choose. Best of all, it's served up by people who seem to care that you have a pleasant experience. Personally, I like a bit of sass when being served a beverage, so I let Heather know that. She came through. ;)The last time we went, it was at opening time, and as we turned the corner, we saw three female patrons with the same idea as us. The door was just opening. I was wearing an out-of-town hoodie, and the women all squealed because they were familiar with that area. Before we even entered the place, we made new friends!Now I saved the best for last, the food! I had the pork tenderloin sandwich, and it was very good. But that wasn't the highlight; it was the onion rings! We had seen a BIG plate of them walk by and were afraid maybe that would be too much, but while these rings are huge, they're light and crispy and brilliant! I highly recommend them! Heck, I highly the whole Ecco Lounge experience. Stop on by and request some sass!

The chicken sandwiches was perfect but the waffles fries were room temperature. The restaurant/bar was nice and I liked reading about the history of the bar

It's slightly cramped, but the atmosphere of Ecco is quite nice. This along with the great service, and even better food, makes it one of my favorite stops in Jefferson City.Parking: The parking is found behind the establishment, or on the side of the road. e
