Its not the best buffet place ive been to. The chicken was rubbery and undercooked. Some of the food looked like it had been sitting out for at least an hour. This was durning lunch. I will not be coming back here again. Dont get me started on their cross contamination. My wife ordered hibachi grill and they cooked someones steak beside her shrimp. This is unacceptable in the food industry and they should be ashamed of themselfs.

It is a Buffet with a wide variety of food. Large amount of seafood included. Nice, hot food, fresh. Very nice staff. We will go back again.

If you go right as they open the food is fresh; and it tastes amazing. They have both a buffet and a little spot where they cook the raw food for you it is truly amazing. I love it. But remember go there right when they open.

Hands down the best place to eat Asian cuisine in Jefferson City. Most places around Jeff are mediocre and have been able to slide by. With the King Buffett under new management this place is thriving. I was hesitant at first because the last owner (Hibachi Grill) was sickening. Now the King Buffett is clean, fast, fresh, and incredibly polite. The staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful experience. I made a point to try (almost) everything. It was all delicious. Except the crawfish. The first hot batch that was out had marinated for sometime and gathered an amazing flavor. It was great! The second was just boiled and placed in the marinade. This was underwhelming, but it's to be expected as a Buffett can't set something to marinate for hours. It has to be ready at a moment's notice. That is my only critique. This place is amazing and I will be back often!

Bad! Told my group of special need adults that we did not pay for one. The hostess and waitress became very argumentative with the us. Made us present all our paid tickets....and then kept counting and recounting them as if they could not believe we really did pay all the bill. I am sure we won’t be wasting our time and hard earned money to be treated so rudely.

Since this place reopened I've been hesitant to try again. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. Great price for lunch of two $18. I will definitely be returning.
