stopped in from out of town and nearly left because of how busy it was today. But that’s always a good sign of a place that’s straight serving heat. Coffee and food were delicious. Got in and out relatively quickly. Friendly staff as well. Well done.

The Salmon Hash Bowl was delicious. The chef even checked in on me to see if I was happy! Excellent service! I will be back the next time I'm in Jeff City.

Tried this place for the first time today and I was blown away! The food and coffee were amazing, but the service is really what will have us coming back! Shelby was so kind, friendly and helpful, she's the reason we'll be back very soon!

I stopped by High Rise Bakery in Jefferson City early one morning for a quick solo visit and was really impressed. I ordered an Americano and a croissant. The Americano was served hot. Just right, not scalding like some other spots around town, which was a nice surprise. But the real standout was the croissant. Honestly, it was the best croissant I’ve ever had in Missouri. Flaky, buttery, and fresh, everything you want from a pastry.
The wait was a bit on the longer side. About 10 to 15 minutes from when I arrived to when I got my order, but considering how popular the bakery is, it wasn’t too bad at all. It felt like it was worth it. The atmosphere was decent although a bit loud.
One thing to note is that the prices are particularly high but I'd come here again for the occasional treat.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it missed the mark for me. I ordered the avocado toast, but it was way too oily — the oil was actually dripping off the bread. I also tried the breakfast bar pastry, and it tasted like it was made almost entirely of sugar. It was way too sweet for a morning treat.
The outdoor seating area could also use some attention. The tables were rusty, and overall the place didn’t feel very clean or well-maintained.
Hope they make some improvements, because the concept has potential.

This was our first time in. We had an excellent experience with the barista. She was friendly and talkative. The food and coffee were great. We had biscuits and gravy and pastries. My only small tweak would be better lighting as it was very dim, and checking the tables to make sure they aren't wobbly. Otherwise, a great experience and we will be back.

Nice place to grab breakfast. The Biscuits and chicken with roasted potatoes were delicious and their coffee is amazing.
I recommend coming here if you want a nice sit down place to catch up with a friend or if you need to quiet time. It’s a calming relaxing atmosphere.

I absolutely love this place, unreasonably good food. Never had IPA biscuits and gravy before, but I'll be chasing that dragon until the day I die. Great coffee, hot honey chicken, and roasted potatoes as well. S*** Is fire. Always on our list of places to come back to when we are in Jeff City.
Geez, Louise! The strudels alone are a valid reason to make this place a destination for food tourism.
Delicious food and good prices. They should have a second location for better parking
Great coffee shop and breakfast.
Pastries. Are. So. Good.
