One of the worst restaurants in Jefferson City if you intend to dine in and have a good service and experience. They only provide food to be taken away. Even when we asked to dine in, the food was all packed together with meat/ fish and all the vegetables and rice stuffed into one box. Food taste was below mediocre. Will never visit there again. And, why do they ask for tips even before you eat their food?

This place is not about service or atmosphere. Order your food and go your way with your to-go box. The flavors are bright and fresh and unique and well worth the trip

A gem in JC, some of the best Jamaican food I’ve had. Jerk chicken was outstanding, curry goat fantastic, and their fried plantains are A+. Ask for some of their house hot sauce, it’s fire. Will definitely be back!

We love their food! They give you enough that my wife and I split the jerk chicken and get a double order of red beans and rice. Jamaica is our favorite vacation spot so to be able to have a taste here is awesome.

A Must Try!
Soooo good this is a Jeff City Gem. The Goat Curry and Oxtail combo has the best flavor. The rest of the family who isn’t as adventurous loved the Jerk Chicken and Coconut Rice with red beans. The amount of food you get for the price is unreal! The only thing I would change is it have been nicer to eat out off a plate instead of out of styrofoam to go containers

We went in as we were given a $10 gift card. We ordered the chicken entree with the beans & rice & the steamed cabbage. Very generous portions & all the food had great flavor!

Small place but FANTASTIC Food! I personally cannot eat the food, too spicy but it is a treat my husband grabs every chance we can! They load him up and he eats and eats! The prices are very comparable for all the food you get! I always wonder how his belly doesn't bust! He loves this food- jerk chicken with all the trimmings!

Found this joint searching on Google. Who can refuse jerk chicatalog. Started with sharing a Jamaican beef patty. The beef is mildly spicey. I also like spooning in some of the jerk sauce. I ordered the wings, potato salad and the steamed calaloo. Calaloo is similar to collard greens, and they definitely had a kick. The potato salad was good and creamy. The husband got a chicken quarter, steamed cabbage and rice and beans. Both sides were very good and the chicken falls off the bone. We finished up with fried plantains for the sweet tooth. They were firm, not mushy or greasy. You get a real bang for your buck... portion size was big, which is refreshing. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our great meal.

We had the Jerk Chicken and Curry Shrimp, both with sides of rice n beans and potato salad. We tried the Beef Patty as an appetizer...very good. The taste brought back memories of my first taste of "jerk" seasonings in Montego Bay. The chicken had a nice smoke flavor from the grill and the sauce was delicious. The potato salad was a nice addition and aided in "cooling" down the spice intensity.I've read some other reviews about "rude service" but obviously they're not accustomed to how Jamaican's conversate! I thought they were extremely nice and personable.I will go back to this restaurant when I'm in Jefferson City again.
