I have loved Sub Shop since I was a Mizzou student 1989-1993 when they had a store on campus. I have continued to be a raving fan. But today.....I was disappointed. The delivery driver (possibly outsourced) did not follow the instructions for delivery, causing the food to sit unattended and unknown for almost an hour. You must have a different tomato soup recipe. It looked like pizza sauce (cold due to sitting so long), the cheese was clearly never in any kind of melted state. My tuna salad sandwich, which I ordered with double american cheese, had no cheese. The tuna salad was beyond fishy and the tomatoes were in an advanced stage of yuck. Of course after sitting that long, the sandwich bread was total mush. So, after waiting 1.5-2 hours for the delivery from just down the street, I had to throw most of it away as is was inedible. I hope you know that I still want to love your business and want to enjoy it in the future. Please take my experience to heart. A long-haul, loyal fan.

We ordered from Worley shop, 40$ for a whole and half sub , the French dip from arbys was better. It was trash and tasted so terrible I was so sad to waste that much money :(

No longer open. Says it's temporarily closed. Disappointed that it wasn't listed on the app or on google that it was closed.

A true original! Hot subs, fresh homemade bread and ingredients made simply. Try their Vegitarian Sandwich on their whole wheat bread and then add your favorite meat to it.

we ordered from the worley shop and they messed up the whole order , the Reuben was Roast beef instead of corned beef it was dry and looked old. I ordered a half Reuben it was the same way, I ordered half italian it was a veggie, and when did they start putting lettuce on the veggies? I won't be ordering there again.

Yet another gem of a sandwich shop found, great ingredients and bread. Super friendly service and very accommodating. I had the 12 inch turkey club sandwich, with extra turkey and added jalapeños. I was very much satisfied and the 12” is well more than enough especially for the price you just can’t beat. Definitely worth a try and can’t wait to have it again.

Our home town locally owned subs never disappoint us. Simply the best!

Absolutely amazing subs. Soft bread and large sandwiches. There isn't a bad sub on the menu. Get the vegetarian with bacon.

I have ordered many sandwiches from Sub shop in Jefferson city over the years. Today I ordered one that I have ordered multiple times in the past. A 6" Veggie, which has been a favorite of mine for years. I realize prices have to go up on occasion and their sandwiches are not over priced, but the Veggie i received today had very little on it and felt as if I just had a bread sandwich. Please don't skimp on your product. I don't return to businesses that do that. I will pay for quality, but when you put less on to save you money that skimps on the quality.

It's a small business. They serve a pretty good sandwich. The bread is made fresh and sandwiches served hot. No frills, bells, or whistles.

While I don't frequent various eateries in JCMO very much these days, the JC Sub Shop is one of my favorite experiences for sub sandwiches. Probably one of the best uses of an old-school Taco Bell location, the JC Sub Shop does have a small dining area, but don't let that discourage you from enjoying their subs there or to go. They typically will serve your subs hot, but will also happily serve your subs cold if you like. Also for those who like rye bread, rejoice; the JC Sub Shop offers rye as one of their bread choices. Nothing fancy, just white, wheat and rye but the real star is what's inside. One of my recommendations? A vegetarian sub with roast beef. You get a very filling sandwich with good portions of both your protein and other toppings. Plus the cheese is nice and gooey, just the way it ought to be on a warm sub. Did I mention the price is right as well? You will get a good sub for your buck here. Definitely worth a visit...or if you're a regular, definitely worth trying out their various sanwiches.
