I got the hot pastrami for $10.50, no side. What little bit of meat I got tasted great, it was just a few thin slices. Could barely see it peeking out between the two slices of bread. Great taste, but I left hungry. For $1.50 more, I can get the New Yorker at McCallisters and it's exploding with meat, and it comes with a side as well! I like the food here, there's just not enough of it.

The owner and staff are all very welcoming and the food is fresh, tasty, and prepared with care. I've eaten at Jefferson deli many, many times and have never had anything but good experiences. Highly recommend.

Quick and easy lunch spot. I had the Big Chef and a side of deli pasta and my lunch partner had the hot pastrami sandwich.
Big Chef salad greens tasted like the earth, house buttermilk ranch has a miracle whip flavor (not a bad thing, just a note), and wish you guys had a couple kid options, preferably a deli meat and cheese plate as one.
Love your simple and entertaining menu, as well as the old timey political theme that is perfect in the state capitol.

My daughter invited me and her friend here for lunch as she had discovered this Deli with her sister. She had raved about their sandwiches and potato salad. She was right, I had the turkey with the fixings...it was delicious, and I could only eat half. Also, I had the browinie...it was scrumptious ?. The workers were so kind and attentive and answered our questions with sincerity. Yes, I will definitely return and will bring others with me. Thanks!
