I was going to stop be the BBQ place on High St, but their brisket looked boiled, sorry. This place was the perfect compliment to some juicy grilled meat and sides. Chicken is juicy and almost falls off the bone. The rice is silky, full of flavor and not salty. Service was fast.

We drove quite a distance to try out this place, and it was worth it. The young man who took our order was polite and made us feel welcomed. We ordered oxtail and fried chicken, and everything was tasty. The prices reflect the economy, but you get your money's worth. This was by far the best service and friendliest family business that I have ever experienced. The chef came out to personally greet us and even offered us a sample to taste the different flavors. I had the veggie alfredo pasta with the fried chicken added. It was hands-down the tastiest pasta I've had. The sauce was just slightly sweet in the best ways. HUGE portions that made about three meals. I will be sure to return when visiting Jeff City in the future.

This place definitely has the best food in town! I just finished the hot fry chicken and it was perfect. The chicken was nice and tender and juicy and the sauce was very flavorful and perfectly spicy! The nice ladies at the register had me taste the oxtail while I waited a couple minutes for my order to be boxed up, it was great! I will definitely put this place at the top of my favorite restaurants in town. If you don’t try their food, you are missing out on the best food in town! The service is excellent also, they are very welcoming and you don’t have to wait long for your freshly cooked food.
