Small family owned grocery store that also serves great food. Love it for brunch! Tiny place off the biz loop, and I wish they could set up at a fancier, easier to park and dine at location, but sometimes best things are a little hidden. Pick up some Saturday morning tamales to-go!

Excellent authentic Mexican food in a charming low key atmosphere. The owners/employees are very friendly and helpful. In addition to food, they have a wide selection of Mexican groceries including several varieties of dried chiles. They were also able to order me some fresh masa which can be hard to find in the central Missouri area.

I absolutely love the food here! The guacamole is the best I've ever had, the ceviche (which I tried for the first time here) is a must order when I'm here food, the burrito is so big that I can have leftovers the next day, and the owner and her family are extremely nice and don't try to rush you out the door!. In my opinion, the best Mexican restaurant in town! Truly a hidden gem and I encourage everyone who loves Mexican food to try this place!

It's truly the real deal if you are a Mexican food connoisseur.... The food is amazing and fresh. The service is from the family, and you cannot get any better than that... They have ceviche and shrimp cocktail so that is hard to find anywhere... who would think to find it in the middle of Jeff City.... Support local and families.

This is a wonderful market and taqueria! The best tacos in Jefferson City hands down. All of them are good but my favorites are the Carne Asada and the Al Pastor. The market has everything you could think of for a taste of Mexico and the staff are the nicest most amazing people around. Stop in for a meal or groceries, you won’t regret it.

My wife and I tried this Market and Taqueria and we enjoyed it very much. The staff were helpful and answered our questions. We started with agua de horchata and agua de Jamaica. It was my first time having the agua de Jamaica which was nice and tart compared to the sweetness of the horchata.My wife had the burrito grande - chicken - which she enjoyed. The guacamole was very good.I had the street tacos - carnitas, barbacoa, and pastor. All very good although I am always partial to pastor. I sampled the sauces. The mild was very mild with the hot being nicely hot but not too spicy. The medium was just right for me. On our way out we noticed some warm tamales to go which we saved for our next time. This is worth a trip.

The carne asada is seasoned perfectly. The street tacos are my favorite! The employees treat you like family. Do not miss out on ordering tamales which they typically do 1-2 times per month (Make sure to like their FB page). The market portion is amazing as well. From fresh meats and cheese to packaged goods, and bakery dulce items delivered fresh, you will find everything you need to make the perfect Mexican meal here. You can also eat in if you prefer. I highly recommend this amazing place!
Wow! I haven't had Mexican food this good since I lived in New Orleans. I cannot say enough good things about them, but I can tell you this, I wanted to go back the very next day! I got the street tacos with steak and they came with a wonderful medium green salsa and enough limes for each. You want something legit in Mid-Missouri? Go here. You will NOT be dissappointed, I guarantee it.
