Food portions were very skimpy. Ordered ground beef tacos but not sure what kind of meat I ended up with. Taco size is street taco size. Refried beans were runny. Everything is pretty much ala carte. Seemed very expensive for the food and amount of food we got and it felt even worse when I didn’t eat the “ground beef” tacos I ordered. We always like to help out the Mom and Pop restaurants but “Mom” has an attitude and she acted like we were bothering her when we asked where the side order or rice and beans were. We did not feel appreciated as a customer. Also, beware that the online order menu and prices are different than the menu prices inside.

Great little restaurant with authentic food. Prices are vey affordable and the portions are generous. The owner and his wife are so friendly and the food is great. If you like spicy food try the dark salsa it is fantastic, goes good on chips and fajitas. If you are looking for mexican food in jeff city and want to support a small business that would truly appreciate your patronage this is the place for you!

Just passing through and needed something good after a long car ride. BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE!! 3 different salsa for your choosing brought to your table and all of them are fantastic. Service was nice and didn't seem to be bothering. Very comfy restaurant and I'd HIGHLY recommend. Kind of mad I don't have one in my town

It’s like walking into Mexico. If you don’t like authentic Mexican food don’t go here cause you’ll complain like some of the people that have given this place a bad review. HOWEVER, if you like real Mexican food and realize that it’s worth the wait to have it cooked fresh on the spot… THEN THIS is the place for you!!! It’s clean, I’m not sure why someone said it isn’t. And it smells like real Mexican food. Not the American-Mexican food that most places serve in Missouri. We will be coming here ALL THE TIME!

First, they're closed on Tuesday, even though their website claims they're open. No problem, I came back anyway. Overall every thing was fine EXCEPT trying to communicate with the server. Everyone was friendly, but when I asked if the three tacos came with beans and rice, I thought she said no, and she went ahead and ordered it as a side for $5.99!! When it came, I figured I misunderstood and it was included. So, when it was time to pay, my bill for the tacos, side, and a beer came to $35.00! When I objected, she recalculated it to the correct $23.50, then somehow it became $25.50. I doubtfully went along, wondering if that was another miscommunication. The food was good, the place is cute, but if you go there, be sure to keep track of how much the bill should be!

It reminded me of home. We talked about the plants and traveling. They played with my daughter and let her dance around. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla with vegetables and it was delicious! I can't wait to go back.

The restaurant smelled awful. The tables were gross smelling and had a sticky layer. My tacos were edible but hard to enjoy with the smell. My sister couldn't even eat because of the smell. Service was not great either. 2 people stood around talking with each other before even acknowledging us. We should've walked out. This place had a better rating then Manuel's Taqueria. We preferred Manuel's way better.. food, service, smell, and atmosphere. Maybe we visited in an off day but we will not try it again.

Wow… I just gotta say. Being from Mexico, the most authentic tacos in the city! Hands down the best tacos in Jeff city. Everything from great service to great catering to your omnivorous needs ? Luis and his wife are the owners of this fantastic taqueria, and they were absolutely amazing making that taqueria a vivid taste of the heart of Mexico! I felt at home with their hospitality and warm welcome. I highly recommend this place!! 5 stars well deserved!!! ❤️
