Sometimes great. Sometimes not. If you hit it at the right time, it's great. But, sometimes it obviously been awhile since fresher cooked. Service and ambiance good. Price is very high IMO.

Love their BBQ. Their homemade chips are excellent with lots of flavors to choose from. My only wish is there was more seating, a bigger venue. During meal times, it is always packed, but seating is very limited.

Lutz’s catered our daughters wedding this past weekend. PHENOMENAL! We had the pulled chicken, pork loin, salad, green beans, and potato casserole and rolls. Every single thing was PERFECT and super FLAVORFUL! We had so many guests comment on the food. If you need an event catered I would highly recommend Lutz’s. Staff was super professional and kept things full and ready to go.

My family has tried this place many times. I remember the one in Columbia was always good, and nice folks. However after our recent experiences at the Jeff city location, we won’t be returning. We’ve recently went there on 3 different occasions to get sweet potato fries. This most recent time did it for us. Paid almost $20 for two orders of fries, and a tip of course. However we received only one box, and when I ask about it they tell us they put it in once box. The other times they came in two different boxes. My husband likes sugar and cinnamon on his, and I prefer salt so that’s why we always get two different orders. Why would you put two differently seasoned fries in the same box? Not only that, they were undercooked a tad, had not ONE pinch of any seasoning on the fries, and paying $20 for “two” orders of fries you’d think they’d be made greatly. We’ll be eating at como fire from now on, they have better meats, better selection and amazing customer service. I’d recommend the same, save yourself the drive if you’re coming from other areas.

We met some friends here for dinner. Everything we got was great. I had the all white meat chicken sandwich with creamy coleslaw and mac-n-cheese. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich with the chips (I tried some; they were really good). Our friends plates looked just as delicious. We highly recommend this place.
