I stopped at this McDonald’s on 2/27/25 at approx 6pm and entered the drive thru line. There were approx 10 cars ahead of me and the line was moving extremely slow. My wait before eventually driving from the lot was approx 45 minutes. After ordering a Quarter Pounder and fries I was told to drive to the next window. A young lady eventually arrived with an order. She handed it to me, turned and reentered the store. Upon turning onto Highway 54 I reached into the bag and found 2 orders of Chicken Nuggets and 2 pies. My wait was so long that I was not going to find a Highway crossover and spend additional time straightening out the order. This was the most frustrating experience had at a McDonald’s and I doubt that I was the only one that had it on the evening of 02/26/25.

This used to be the "good" McDonald's in town. Now it is nothing but slow, cold, and filled with bad service. You could drive to Columbia, eat a meal at a nice restaurant, then go back home before even getting to the drive thru window.

Insanely SLOW! Waited 35 minutes from when I got in drive thru line. Only had 2 cars in front of me. Waited 20 minutes for food after we were told to park. Ordered two $5 meals. The guy handing out food had to come out and check what our order was and we were the only car still waiting on food!!!!!! I finally had to go inside and demand our food. Fries and nuggets were cold. Nobody said sorry for the wait.
This place is the worst McDonald's in Jeff City. Go across town and wait 10-15 minutes.

This location consistently is very very slow. It is not uncommon to wait 40+ minutes for food, especially if you pickup by parking in the designated spot.
Upon arrival, we placed our order and waited for 36-40 minutes, which was frustrating, but the experience was further marred by the behavior of the staff. One employee was seen eating a sandwich while preparing others, shoving fries into his mouth simultaneously. The atmosphere was chaotic, with employees yelling profanities at each other, including derogatory [N-word] terms directed at one another and dismissive remarks towards the cashier. When our food finally arrived, every sandwich bore a noticeable thumbprint, indicating they had been carelessly handled, and the wrappers were stained with sauces, particularly mayo, despite none of our sandwiches containing it. Overall, the sandwiches were flattened like if they had smashed them intentionally and poorly presented, reflecting a lack of professionalism and care in food preparation.

Have been here several times, different times of day and on different days. Every time we go there the staff is rude and treat customers like an convenience. Plus every single time we go, they always for get something. The last time we went it took 20 mins and 3 different times off people coming out to our car to get our full change for a refund. I've worked in fast food, if I did half the stuff they do or act/treat customers the way they do, I would have been fired in a heartbeat. I hope they get better staff so this store can reach its full potential.

I started loving McDonalds as a kid (I’m 73 years old) Recently I’ve noticed a severe decline in quick friendly service at certain locations. Yesterday, after a fairly long boycott of your stores, I found myself about 40 minutes early for an appointment and decided to stop and enjoy a simple cheeseburger and small fry, so I took a chance on an improved service experience. How hard could such a simple order be? I noticed the drive-thru was a bit congested and there were only two customers inside so I parked and went into the store and placed my order. (Huge mistake) After waiting 45 minutes, knowing I would be late for my meeting, I took my receipt to the register and asked for my money back. As I was leaving the store with cash in hand the manager chased me down with my meal and told me it had just come up. No charge, but the meal was cold as if it had been sitting for a while. I’m probably done with your UN-happy meal!

Just left here about 5 minutes ago. Was waiting over a hour for my food.i also ordered from the app.. They brought out only my sodas and all my food never was brought out. I went in and no one would help me. Had to get 1 of the ppls attention that was just standing there. Guy was really nice and got my last drink good plus wrote my order down since they cleared my order. While waiting my order still kept getting pushed. Manager yelling at everyone in front of a bunch of customers they got 30 orders behind on fries. Finally got my food and they still didn’t have my entire order. Plus my burger patty’s are burnt! Will not be eating at this location again along with I will be contacting corporate.
