The pizza here is top 3 best tasting in Jefferson City. Not a place for family to sit down and eat. More of a billiard hall pub. Get it to go.

The pizza is always hot fresh and fantastic. I really enjoy their unique style of crust that's similar to pizza shoppe, but has a much better flavor.

The staff is always very friendly, I wish they would make some small improvements to their building for a better dine in experience. That small detail aside, it's probably my favorite carryout pizza in Jeff City.

We have never eaten at the restaurant, we only order pizza to be delivered. But we are never disappointed! It is always delicious, always hot, the crust is great, thin crust, but crispy, and really tasty, and the toppings are spot on! We love their pizza. And the owners, I assume when they answer the phone and take your order or genuinely kind and courteous. Great job Obies, you are our favorite!

GREAT pizza and sandwiches! Most wonderful and nicest owners ever! Patience required because food is made to order but well worth the wait. Very efficient carry-out business. Nights are worth it just for the patrons that are unique characters. Very fair pricing! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

When I first arrived, I saw the place and thought, crap…. It is a bar. Then I saw their sign that said, “Obie’s Pizza;” therefore, I thought, “Ok, Clint this is a little leery as bars usually serve frozen cheap knockoff pizza from the dollar store, and you hate bad pizza.” However, I decided to give it a try. I walked in and thought to myself, ok… it's a Pool Haul? They have 3 or 4 pool tables, where some fellow hillbillies were playing, drinking, and having a good time. I say ‘Hillbillies, as if I am one of them. I sort of am one; however, I try to be refined and dignified; nevertheless, every once in a while, the hillbilly does come out in me. When I say, “every once in a while,” I mean, “quite often.” Enough of the hillbilly talk, so I walked into this hillbilly, bar/pool hall/ pizza joint, and nobody was eating pizza, which I thought was not the best of signs. I was promptly greeted. Now they do not have much seating, but they have a few group-style tables, and they sat me there at the end of the table. Now outside the six hillbillies playing pool and two employees, there were no other souls there, other than me. Picture this… 6 hillbillies, two employees, who are probably hillbillys on their time away from work. Then you have me… a hillbilly in denial. I ordered my pizza and wondered, “What the hell am I doing? Clint you know how much you hate bad pizza, this little dive place is going to serve you a pizza that will lay you up in the hospital. I will be lucky if it’s cardboard pizza.” Thus, I waited for about 12 -15 minutes on my protentional cardboard pizza, and hoped it wouldn’t end in a visit to the emergency rooms. The lady brought out my pizza and it was billowing steam as if it was on fire. This thing came out hotter than Louisiana on a Summer Night!! The crust was nice and crispy, the cheese was piping hot with great pull, and the pizza was endowed with toppings. The pizza sauce was there and had good flavor, but just a little on the skimpy side. It just could have used a little more sauce this pizza would be fantastic. Even with minimal sauce, this pizza was flavorful. These people are proud of their pizza as they should be. I could taste the love in the pizza, they may not put a lot of sauce on their pizza; nonetheless, the pour a lot of love into it. Pizza tastes so much better, when love is one of the ingredients. Ok, if you and your amigos want to go get a pizza, you can come here, shoot a couple of rounds of pull, eat some pizza, and drink a few pints, or you could bring your girlfriend, in and eat here if she likes pizza and beer; however, I would not call this a family place. If the wife and kids are with you, I probably wouldn’t want to eat in. It just doesn’t seem like that type of place; nonetheless, there isn’t a damn thing preventing you from taking it out and eating it at home, the party, a hotel room, etc. This is a great take-out pizza, and the kids and wife will love you for it, and be very happy people. My taste buds were satisfied, my stomach didn’t hurt afterward, and there was no dissatisfaction that could be found in me. Their pizza far exceeds all the national chains. This is a good pizza, maybe not great, but a good pizza that is on the verge of being a great pizza.
