Oscar's Classic Diner

We ordered online and one dinner was not what was ordered. The hot beef dinner had a strong taste not sure if it was spices or due to the gravy. The bread was so soggy it was impossible to eat. Very disappointed in the dinner. We will not be returning.

Honestly felt like an old family diner. The parking lot was packed but there was barely anyone inside. It was so peaceful, you could hear the cooks more than anyone else. Waitress was great, constantly making sure we were satisfied. The booths are also big guy friendly.
Side note: I personally got the 14oz ribeye with shrimp, and a baked potato. The steak was just your average restaurant steak but the shrimp was the best shrimp I've ever had in my life!

got the Thursday chicken special after a fasting Dr. appointment. it was WONDERFUL. mashed potatoes are excellent, also. It's available on other days but will take 20+ minutes to cook. Super Dave was there and he remembered me, as did 1 server. the rest of the staff were hired during my absence

Good quick friendly service food was delicious. I had the Philly cheese steak omelet. It was the best omlet I've ever had at a restaurant.

I travel all over the country and visit many restaurants and cafe's. I have went here a few times recently during travel but this morning I had the opportunity to sit at the counter and watched the staff work. They have in the past been very professional. This morning my server started arguing with another employee loudly right in front of patrons. The Six cooks that I watched seem to work well together back there with one lead, HOWEVER, ALL have several weeks if not months of beard growth, one looked like he just got up and did a half $ss man bun, and really should just shave his facial growth off as it doesn't fill in. Maybe when he is a little older. My main concern for all... NOT ONE had the required Beard Net for public safety. If it wasn't for the argument and beard nets not being used my score would have been higher. The food was good but I kept looking at it as I ate wondering if a red, brown, black or grey hair was going to show up. I ended up not finishing my food. Maybe he had an off morning but the manager or owner gave me the impression while watching, the staff at times seemed to do as they wish and don't care about their demeanor which is an influence on the business.
