My experience with Pappo’s has always been excellent. The staff are absolutely quite amazing and really knows how to maintain professionalism and promote an absolute Family Friendly environment for everyone.
Pizza crust is just a cheap frozen product, literally tasted like cardboard.
Definitely not worth the hype or the price.
Jefferson City deserves better!!

The pizza is always great, with a good lineup of draft beer, and Kenzie was absolutely fantastic.

Stopped in for an early dinner. Alexandra A was our server and a total delight. Friendly and professional. Our food came out timely hot and exactly as we ordered. An excellent experience. Also a shout out to who was working the bar our drinks were perfect. Definitely worth giving them a try.

The food was good, but the service was atrocious.
If you've ever gotten the cookies from Pappo's, you know they're good, but you also know that you aren't getting them until 15 minutes after you order them. We've been a few times, and so this time I decide to order a dozen just as our food arrived. A table that was seated behind us ordered half a dozen after they finished dinner (about 15 minutes later). When we got done with our dinner, we waited and waited and watched as our waiter brought the other table's half dozen before us. As time marched on, we got excuse after excuse for the delay, "New cook, can't bake more than six at a time, something happened to the first batch." Our waiter never explained why the group that ordered theirs after us got theirs before us; while we had to sit there for twenty minutes after our meal was done.
To note, this was not a busy night.
I reached out to Pappo's through their "Contact Us" option, but never heard back from them. They either need to get their act together or get ready to close. That location looks like a good spot for an Olive Garden.

The only thing good was our waitress. The price of the food held very high expectations. Sadly I’ve had better pizza from just about anywhere else in JC. The crust was very dry with a lot of white flower stuck to the bottom that just sucked all the moisture out of my mouth. The top had a lot of sitting grease and tasted very unappetizing. The seating is very crowded and the lights are super bright. I hate to leave a 1 star review but after reading some other reviews and seeing the owner “striking back” at others review's, rather than take the constructive criticism, is very unprofessional. It shows how poor the management is. And I’ve gone to Pappos 2 times because I believe in 2 chances… I will not be returning.

Way over hyped. I'm new to the area and was told I had to try it. This must be a cult following but I have had better pizza many other places.

Managers and Assistant Managers, quit making your waitress staff take complaints. Do your jobs. I was excited 2 years ago when Pappo’s was coming to JC. Now you are just a big disappointment every time I come there. Tonight was the last. My favorite beer is the Salty Dog, when the restaurant first opened the Salty Dog on JC had 4 blueberries. I had to ask for more. That continued until it came off the beer menu a few months ago. When I get that same beer at the lake or in Columbia, it always had a lot more blueberries. That’s what makes the beer. Tonight, it was back in the beer menu. I ordered it, after a long wait, the waitress came and told me that there were no blueberries. Because this has always been an issue in JC, I asked to talk to the manager so I could tell you that there is an Aldi’s and a Walmart just a block away from you. Go get some blueberries. You were to scared to talk to a disappointed customer. Sad, you are a disappointment to managers everywhere. This was not the only disappointment. We shouldn’t have to ask for plates with our pizza. When we do have to ask, we shouldn’t get salad plates that were kept in a cooler. The plates were cold. That doesn’t go well with hot or semi warm pizza. Terrible Pappo’s. You have been a disappointment since you opened in JC.
