A lot of young people working that have no idea about customer service. Walked in with only three tables going, but dirty dishes on several other tables. All staff was in the kitchen laughing and goofing off. Waited a good 5-6 minutes before finally shouting hello into the kitchen to get someone’s attention to come seat us. Servers would bring food out of the kitchen to people and run right back in there. We were barely checked on. I watched several more people wait a long time after walking in to be seated because no one was out in the dining room, and some of these people were much older, using canes and looking very uncomfortable. We were finished with our food for a good 15 minutes, noone came to ask if it was good, take our plates or offer us dessert, which is what we really wanted, a piece of pie. My dad actually saw them throwing things at each other in the kitchen and thats when i decided to say something. i had to stand in front of the kitchen door for a couple minutes when finally the cook of all people realized i was there and sent someone out at which point i complained that they were not doing their jobs and with only 7-8 tables seated, things should not take so long and that hanging out in the kitchen and not paying attention to their customers was hugely unprofessional, ive been in food service as well. i said we'd been sitting there for ages waiting for pie or a check. she then went back into the kitchen where i heard laughing. the cook did poke his head out asking if the food was ok. Several people came to me saying well done and i was right, they just didnt want to do it. it was still a good while before our waitress came to see us, but she only dropped the check without saying a word. no offer of dessert or saying have a good day. My dad was going to buy a pie, but decided against it and we went to Dairy Queen for ice cream instead. the only reason im giving two stars is because she remembered what my dads gf always gets. But for three people the check was $70, and absolutely NOTHING about this experience was worth it.

While greeted quickly, the server never returned to take our order after bringing the wrong beverages. We waited about 15 minutes. The restaurant was mostly empty, just three tables filled and 2 servers hanging out in the back not coming out on the floor.

I go to Perkins several times a week. Everything is amazing EXCEPT the long wait times to get seated. They need to improve that situation. The staff is friendly and hard-working. The food is excellent. June is the baker and her food is sooo good. She’s so friendly! One of the cooks (Bud) makes my usual breakfast to perfection. Tiffany, Teresa and Shania are amazing servers. Carrie tries to keep everything rolling . As I said, if they could cut the wait time ( even when there are many empty tables, the experience would be a 5+!

It's a quiet little diner experience, awesome food options, 24/7 breakfast available ?, and a huge variety of desserts. Not the best service the last 3 times we went. They always have one server waiting tables, bringing out food, and cashing people out so they are always busy and it takes longer to get your check and leave. But the food alone is absolutely worth it!!

The cream cheese French toast had Margarine instead of cream cheese drizzle all over the toast. Friendly wait staff!

Unless you have lots of patience you just as well skip this place. Perhaps we were there on a bad evening but OH MY, the service is very poor. It was 20 mins till our order was taken of which was a bowl of soup and a southwest chicken salad. I think it took 30 mins or longer till it was brought out. The food was good. The waitress never came back to ask about drink refills or if everything was okay. We finally went to the counter for our check as well.A positive note to the eve…..The hostess was friendly and cheerful in spite of the issues at hand. I heard her apologizing to nearby guests about the slow kitchen
