I was surprised by how busy they were. At least 10 aircraft on the ramp and very few open spots for cars. Despite this they seemed to be getting everyone seated and served in a reasonable amount of time. The food was good and they kept the coffee cups full

I go out to eat breakfast every Sunday whether with friends or just myself. I usually go to the landing zone most of the time I get great service and filling and great food. But on Sunday Nov 9 , I went for breakfast sat at the counter Susan was my server I patiently waited as she took other orders well Mrs Tammy walked through brought me a sweet tea , when Susan finally took my order not only was wrong but she decided she deserved a tip more then I knew typed in what she felt was right I later called dalton fixed the bill.
Today meet my friends Mrs Brandy our server. We sat at a both at 700 am never got a menu until 715 am she took our drink order received it about 725am she never took our order I stopped another waitress asked if she could take our order she said no cause brandy will be pissed. Finally at 735am brandy took our Order at 745 am still no breakfast but we could see our food on the counter getting cold. Then dalton stopped talked to us I offered to pay for my tea I told him when you have two other tables come in 15 mins after you they get there order eat pay leave it piss’ you off. These 2 servers are horrible. Tammy Carrie Katrina all good

1) when we first arrived we asked for a table for a 5 and a server wrote our name down. then a couple minutes later another server took over and gave another group a table who had just walked in. So terrible communication among servers...
2) when we ordered a couple of us ordered coffees and we didnt get them until the food arrived...
3) food was fine
hire some more staff or fire some people because this place was a joke. Never coming back.

I love the location. Wait staff is great. Kitchen is sketchy. I was with a party of six today and the wait was excessive but that’s a good thing for the restaurant. However over an hour after our order was taken we were informed that one of our party would not be eating fish since they were out. Also when orders arrived some portions were lukewarm or cold. Now I’m not a restaurant owner or manager and I don’t pretend I know how to run a restaurant but if I had customers waiting to eat and I was out of what they ordered I would let them know in a timely fashion. I would also never serve hot food unless it was hot. Inexcusable - sure hope this restaurant lives up to its potential soon.

My first time at this location. The food was good. Rained so there's not much of a view. Only one waitress . Which did a good job.
Neat Nietch place to eat
Randomly closes for staffing issues. Recommend calling ahead.
This is a really neat place to visit if you like seeing planes. Planes ascending, Planes descending, planes landing, planes sitting on the tarmac.
However, there are only like 6 tables outside, and they look to be 2 seaters. There are at least 20 tables inside, but 3 were scooted together so by the time we got there, my spouse, myself and baby were sitting at a 6 seater table. If the tables were more split, they could have gotten more service. We got here around 8am on a Sunday and were seated right away. By the time we left, it was a 45 minute wait. Additionally, you can't really see the tarmac from the inside unless you're seated in a booth. Even then, a table is right on the other side of the window.
The food was good. We got the kids pancakes, spinach omelette, and country fried steak. The omelette was good, but the bottom side was wet and a tad undercooked. By a tad, I mean it would have been great with another 30 seconds on the skillet.
My husband's country steak was good, and he said he'd recommend it.
The pancakes were fluffy, and served with whipped butter.

Food was great. Service was excellent. Really cool to watch planes take off. I will return.
Riding the KT trail and took the spur to the airport. I think this is the nearest restaurant to the trail. Very good food.
I enjoyed watching the airstrip while I ate.
Such a unique dining experience. You’re seated upstairs over looking the air strip. Have the opportunity to observe aircraft take off and land, while enjoying down home delicious food. The portions are adequate, and made fresh. The service is quick and attentive. Pricing is fair and offer military/first responder discounts
Good spot for a fly in lunch or those interested in aviation to watch the action at KJEF. Really enjoyed the food and facility is very nice.
