I had Babe's for the first time when it was suggested by someone who also mentioned how great it is. The food was way beyond my expectations. And being a crushed ice lover myself, I've gotta say that it hit the spot too!

Probably the rudest service you'll get in the area. The girls at the front counter act like they're disgusted to have to wait on you. The food is good for the most part but the service is running me off after 30 years of going.

Burger was fine fries were awful the lady refused to fill my drink because I was outside which is where I ate my food because the place was so dirty. For a 10 dollar burger is just not worth it

The best burger & onion strings in or around Joplin. Everything on the menu is delicious & I have never been disappointed. Everything made fresh & have daily specials. It's a traditional old school fast food joint.
The staff needs more training. I understand it is mostly high school students working there, but upper management needs to take more time to properly train the children in customer service.
We use to be regulars, but the atmosphere has gone down hill, gave another shot today and was met with the same service. I’m sure the young lady working drive thru is a nice enough kid, but slamming the window shut after receiving payment then not returning our change until several minutes later when she reopened it to hand out the order was a little rude. Couple that with the irritated look on her face during our brief encounter and the meal being both overcooked and undercooked was all pretty off putting.
Will return once we see reviews moving more positively.
I ordered a chubby cheese no tomatoes add mayo and ketchup. Not a lick of mayo ketchup. Not everyone likes only sour mustard. I don't know if they have an aversion to adding those 2 condiments. Need to do better.

Such a great place to eat, always great food!! Their cherry limeade is so good. Better than sonic hands down , there tots too and burgers.
The place is dirty but fine, the people were nice. Looking at the menu it appeared like hamburgers and sandwiches. I didn't get more than one minute before being asked for our order but whatever it's busy, very crowded, and i wasn't sure we'd make it to the other side of the menu. So i made a HUGE mistake and ordered a steak sandwich. Welp that's chicken fried steak. I don't normally complain and since I was unsure of what I was ordering anyway, I thought I'd just eat it, a new experience if you will. It was disgusting, honestly disgusting. I've never had one, will never again, for all I know it could of been made wrong. I took two bites, it didn't taste like meat, very starchy too. I did tell a lady behind the counter who said, "yep that's our steak sandwich" then walked off. It was fine my husband ordered a chubby burger and it only had mustard on it, he was able to take the toppings off mine before I threw it in the trash. My daughter had a grilled cheese, it was bread and cheese so that was the one star.
One of my favorites, the best Philly cheese steak in town! I would suggest adding jalapenos!!!
