Great service, coffee, and pastries! The barista helped me pick exactly what I wanted for my coffee and offered to get me another one if I didn't like it. I got an onion and cheese bagel (fantastic!) but all of the pastry options looked delicious. It's not cheap but not overly pricey. Very nice staff, and there's wifi available. I will definitely come here again!

Best locally roasted coffee in Joplin, no contest. The owners really care, really know good coffee, and are super sweet and down to earth. Very laid back and comfortable environment, right next to the Empire Market gardens (like they can open a large door in the main seating area and boom there’s a garden!) and Farmhouse Bakery goodies?! There are so many delectable treats for every one of your senses. I can’t recommend them enough…but I will keep trying.

1st time in was today and the lady in there working was absolutely wonderful 😊 our drinks were absolutely fabulous 🙏🙏🙏 and we got some wonderful pastries and got to see the community gardens outside which is absolutely beautiful ❤️ definitely would recommend and will become a regular

We stumbled upon the Bearded Lady because we were visiting the bakery inside the building, and we had to walk through to get to the bakery. I’m SO glad we did! The barista greeted us so kindly even though we “were here for someone else” 😝🫣 which is why we decided to get a coffee on the way out. She was absolutely amazing! She suggested the French Toast latte, and let me tell you it was delightful! The balance of sweetness, and flavors of caramel, maple and cinnamon were perfect with the espresso what was drawn perfectly, not too acidic. I also got a skim milk Cortado, and it was phenomenal. The barista informed us that they make their own syrups, and insisted that we try the caramel by itself. Absolutely delicious!! You can definitely taste the freshness of the ingredients in the homemade syrups. It truly makes all the difference in the drinks. We will definitely be back!

Ehhh. This place is ok. They only have one size coffee drinks. So if you want a larger size for example, you’re out of luck. No skim milk. And for that smaller one size coffee , my mocha was like $6.50. Absolutely highway robbery for that size. On the plus side they had a wide range of coffees that they roasted for sale in bags and they looked pretty decent.
