After spending 90 for the 4 of us to eat 3 of us left without even finishing 25% of our plates. the meat platters came to us with cold turkey, brisket and ribs. Definitely worst restaurant I've tried in along time. My wife was satisfied with her burger.

We have always loved It here so much so I have purchased gift cards for friends for holidays, ordered for employee fun days, etc. …until today! Well past the lunch rush, the service we received was so far below the standard we had come to expect from this grill. Treated poorly, canceled order because it took so long, waitress was non responsive and rude. Manager didn’t seem to care much. No thank you. This is really sad, used to be such a great place. On a high note, the hostess that seated us was nice.

My husband and I came here on a date night excited to have some good BBQ, but we were both very disappointed. The pulled pork and burt ends were very dry, they tasted like they were reheated leftovers from the day before, and the fries tasted like old oil. Definitely not worth the price.

It was freezing in the restaurant and we waited over 45 minutes for our entree. When the entrees arrived the burnt ends were barely warm. Not acceptable.

We haven’t been here in quite awhile but it used to be my favorite place. We quit coming because food had changed so much from original owners. O-rings have never been the same since they left. The ones we had tonight tasted of burnt grease (1/2 of the tower was pretty burnt). Anyhow tonight’s food was sub par and honestly we just won’t be back. I posted the pictures of our food and to tell you the truth only thing I didn’t try was my husband’s ribs but he had not complaints. First set of rolls were stale, chicken fried steak was not good at all and the curly fries had little pieces of old fries piled up and inside my daughters curly fries (literally little black old potatoes they went ahead and deep fried). The large order of them was something I wouldn’t even consider curly fries at all. But our waiter was sweet and kind. He got a good tip of course despite the food. We came to see if it got any better and unfortunately we are disappointed.

Came last night for the first time to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday and this place was AMAZING!! Definitely going to be our new place when we visit Joplin! The brisket was so good and FRIED BROCCOLI 🥦??? Yes please! The amount of food you get for what you pay is really good!! Lacy was a wonderful waitress with great communication! Thanks again for everything!!
10 stars! Waitress Lacy was awesome! Food awesome. Serving size is ridiculously large. Better come hungry!

This is the second time I've gone there that the food was sub par, the Suzie Q's were not cook long enough, had grease soaked in them, the pork sandwich, the pork was dry. Just not like it use to be. I hope this is sort term. Oh and their ice tea was cloudy and did not taste good. So sad, I love(ed) Big R's.
