I Have been using Cafe Connections for five years now and they have been a great experience. They are very professional, and they have allowed me to focus on the day-to-day operational side of my Cafe's knowing all of my social media is in great hands. Definitely recommend.
The team at Cafe Connections has done a fantastic job of managing the social media for our Tropical Smoothie Cafe location in Idaho. They are super responsive and willing to go the extra mile for their clients. Each month they have great marketing ideas which have helped drive new traffic to the cafe.
Cafe Connections is very responsive to our needs and a huge asset to our business.
One of the best places to eat in Joplin! Get there early or there will likely be a wait. They have everything from soups, salads & pastas to fried chicken, pork chops & steak. One of my favorite meals is the grilled chicken Alfredo with the tiny fried onions on top. The coconut fried chicken is also delicious. And you can’t go wrong with the homemade potato chips! It’s a casual and cozy atmosphere. I recommend eating here!
The Red Onion was recommended by our hotel, and WOW!, they were correct. We thoroughly enjoyed a delightful dinner and great service. The menu choices were plentiful, and we enjoyed a fantastic vegetarian sandwich with cream cheese dill spread and a Baja chicken special. Highly recommend.
After my first meal of the Prairie pork chops, I came back the next several days that I stayed in Joplin. The house side salad and dressing were spectacular! I actually bought a bottle of the dressing to take home with me. Of the 3 dinners I had, the pork chop and the filet were the best by far. The servers were attentive. If and when I make it back to the Joplin area again, I will definitely make the effort to go to the Red Onion!
We were seated immediately and our waiter, Jeremy came over right away. Jeremy was very attentive and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, their bar is wine and beer only and that is the only negative about this restaurant. The meal was excellent and very reasonably priced. We had pasta with grilled chicken, a salad and bread. Very generous portions and delicious. We both had dessert and that was excellent as well.
Disappointed after reading the reviews. Special of the day was just ok, and so was the pasta. Burger & soup was best . Service was good kitchen was quick. Carrot cake was dry.
We drove into Joplin for a few hours and stopped for lunch you because of all the rave reviews. Plenty of parking. We were seated right away. Our waitress Mariah was welcoming and professional. My husband loved his cheeseburger and seasoned french fries. My toasted ravioli and marinara sauce was so delicious. Wish we lived closer!
Wow! The food was amazing! Lots of options. Highly recommend the French onion soup. We will definitely be back!

Lemon tilapia was some of the best fish my wife has ever had. My bourbon maple glazed pork chops were the finest chops I have ever eaten, anywhere. Remarkable. We also appreciated the choice of dark-green salads. Even the garlic toast was great. The waitress was very efficient, fun, and accommodating. We will definitely eat here again the next time we’re in Joplin.
We stopped at the Red Onion on our tour of Route 66. It's only two blocks off the route and close to the Route 66 mural in Joplin. The food was OUTSTANDING! Great menu variety and fixed perfectly. The service was OUTSTANDING! Mariah was the best waitress we've had in a long time. If she lived in our area I'd try to hire her! Overall, this is THE place to eat in Joplin for lunch.
This is an example of a restaurant that is more than a restaurant--It's an experience. For us, it was a wonderful experience from entering the beautiful and welcoming building, to the decor, to the food, and to the server. We were delighted to see a keto menu as part of the regular offerings, and ordered from it. The food was outstanding! Now, many of us have been to restaurants that have fantastic food and great atmosphere. However, the experience doesn't always come with perfect service. Our server, Courtney, was the proverbial icing on the cake. She was attentive, charming and efficient. She determined we were "out-of-towners" and made us feel like we were her only customers. Perfect food, perfect atmosphere, perfect service. We were part of the trifecta of excellent dining. Thank you, Red Onion, for making our visit special. If we could give you a hire rating, we would.
We happened to be traveling west and stopped in Joplin. The Red Onion Cafe was a true highlight. Great food, great service....wonderful atmosphere. If you are anywhere close, you owe it to yourself to try this place. Excellent.
We are heading to Texas and wanted to stop for lunch. We didn’t want the normal chain places. So we chose here based on reviews from trip advisor and Siri. So extremely happy we did. We started with the Strawberry lemonade. Fresh and delicious. Then we ordered the stuffed mushrooms, you know it’s fresh when you bite and it has a crunch to it. Then the stuffed soft creamy cheeses with the bacon and green onion. Don’t pass them up. For our meal we order the Love me Tender, beef medallions cooked perfectly on a brioche bun and grilled veggies. It didn’t disappoint. The second sandwich was the Philly cheesesteak with fries. Both sandwiches were enjoyed and gobbled up. The meal was so good that we ordered their fresh turtle cheesecake to go so we could eat it once our stomachs were emptied more. This is the first time that I can recall leaving a restaurant full but wanting more. If you ask us we would say the mushrooms were our favorite part. However, those sandwiches are only off by a point. Our waitress was a delight Mariah was wonderful. Make sure to give it a try.
