I ordered a cake for my 12yr olds birthday. She did not do the cartoon I asked for. Had to spell it three times for her. He was a boy and she did it in yellow. I refused to take the cake. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER A SPECIAL EVENT CAKE FROM HER.

I was a little nervous about using this bakery. However, there were some good reviews on Google. I came in and spoke with Cecy about what I wanted. She did an excellent job! The cake was moist and filling were delicious!! The cake looked great. Everyone loved it!The first photo is what I received. The second photo is what I presented when I ordered. I stated I would supply the tractor and farm animals, as I wanted our animals. She was a pleasure to work with. Her price was reasonable!It's really hard to know with your first order if you will get what you wanted. I was very happy with the cake and the service!I recommend Cecy's Cakes to anyone in the Joplin or surrounding areas! Thanks for making his 60th birthday a success!!

It was hard to find anywhere in Joplin that makes Choco Flan, but then I found Cecy! It was delicious, well made and was very well decorated too. My husband loved it for his birthday. Thank you so much, we will be back again ?

I ordered my mom a lemon cake with lemon frosting for her birthday and it was about the best lemon cake I've ever had. The cake was just melt in your mouth delicious and soft, the frosting was lightly lemon flavored, not overly sweet, very creamy and not gritty at all. A little pricey but for what you're getting it's definitely worth it in my opinion
You buy a cake from a bakery because you want a good quality cake so you pay the good quality price. I will definitely be back.

Lovely! I just order a carrot cake for my friends birthday. They were very sweet. If you are a fan of amazing tasting cakes- then this is the place for you! The design work was just a tad messy- however that was mainly due to the hot temperatures today and there is nothing that could have prevented that. This was made with love. One of the best tasting cakes I have had in a long time! I will be coming back <3

If I could leave no stars I would. I asked for a certain cake they gave the complete opposite. I couldn't believe for starters they misspelled the name. I asked for a particular cake and they said they could do and it looked like something they did last minute. I would have be been better off getting a cake from Walmart. They probably would have cared more I would listen to the previous reviews and not order from here. Disappointed is an understatement not worth a cent.

I highly recommend Cecy's Cakes! They really came through for me in a pinch. I needed a birthday cake in 2 days, and they were able to accommodate! I gave them a general idea of what I wanted, and the cake turned out perfect! And the taste? Let me tell you- it was probably the most delicious marble cake I've ever had!! Thank you, Cecy's Cakes!!
