A very pleasant evening was spent here with beer and pizza and then trivia. I usually avoid trivia but my daughter lives here in Joplin and we were hanging with her and her friends.
Chaos is a fun spot. They had eight beers on tap including black IPA, a Farmhouse Ale, Kentucky Common, Coffee Stout, Cream (9.0&!), Imperial Stout (10.2%), Pale Ale, Tropical Ale and after trying two, I settled on the Berliner Weisse that they call "Le Champagne Du Nord" that was tasty. I would have preferred something lighter but this is what's here today.
Pizza with it was tasty. Design it on a slip by circling styles and toppings, it takes a few minutes for your beeper.
Lots of seating both at the bar, at six-and eight-top tables and some comfy chairs. It's not overly decorated but it's comfortable and a fun hangout. Prices were good and there is free street parking and a lot in the back.

We dropped in yesterday afternoon because I had seen a friend post about Choas this past week. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Daniel did a great job describing thi as to us and taking our orders. They have several interesting beers and we shared a flight of 6. They were a great range and all were good. We ordered a pizza and we were both very impressed with how good it was. Definitely not a typical bar pizza. We will definitely return.

Guy behind the bar was rude stright out the box. New to craft beers I ask some questions got sort answers. All of our crew showed up there was 9 of us. We tried to get some samples and he said I'm not here to give away beer you just need to buy a flight, so the 3 of us that got beers paid and we all left. The pizza smelled and looked great, to bad we never got to the order food part of the night. If you are new to craft beer this place is not for you.

Excellent beer selection. I especially enjoyed Eclipse and Gekkenhuis. Pizza was good too. Surprisingly empty on a Friday night with live music. Also didn’t have a bartender that night which my nonbeerdrinking wife would have appreciated.
So glad we stopped here while passing through Joplin! Top-notch beer, solid pizza, and the best bartender Daniel. We even got to play trivia and stayed almost until close because we were enjoying ourselves so much. P.s. if you’re a cyclist, they have bike racks indoors :)

I was in the area and decided to stop at Chaos for the first time to give it a try! I really like the area where it's located and they have street parking in front and decent parking in the back. It's has a large bar seating section that puts you right in the brewery action. The space is well utilized, and everything is set up perfectly for it. Both beers I tried were amazing, and I highly recommend the Red Kingdom. They have a small pizza menu with phenomenal pricing, size, and topping options so you can customize any pizza you like. The pizza I had was simple and was just right for a tasty lunch. I would definitely go out of my way to come here for some brews, and I can't wait for my next opportunity to re-visit Chaos brewing.
