The worst Chinese food I've ever had.
The rice was overcooked and bland.
The Lo Mein had no seasoning, just oil.
All of the chicken was overcooked, to the point you couldn't eat a lot of it. I ate here at 1pm, so the food should be somewhat fresh.
I had a 3 option plate and my wife had a 2 option plate. Somehow both plates were the same size despite the price difference.
Also the serving size was pretty small. I felt ripped off.

I get it, it's a mall Chinese food restaurant. I'm not expecting something amazing, but I've had Chinese food from many food courts over the years that were delicious. This was just....so bad. The gentleman that helped us was fantastic and polite, but the food was just so terrible. I've had frozen dinners that had better flavor and more tender chicken than here. You could offer me $20 to eat here again, and I would pass up on it.

In my opinion, China Pantry might be North Park Mall’s weakest dining option. The service is fast, but the food leaves much to be desired—both in variety and in flavor. None of the dishes looked particularly appealing, but I still sampled the beef broccoli, a chicken dish that seemed the most promising, and a spring roll. While edible, everything was bland. It had the kind of taste you might associate with “healthy food,” though I’m skeptical it was actually healthy.

I don’t know how people get off, giving Only three stars!
Around 2015 I had the chance to go to Hong Kong Island for a total of nine weeks of course authentic Chinese food does taste different but their sauce is the same. This is what I look for as sauces and the preparation and chefs on Little touch, there’s only two places in Joplin that I will go. This one is China pantry. It is my first choice of the two not only do I enjoy the food that’s made fresh every single day, but the customer service is top-notch. If you ask for extra, they’ll give it to you no charge just a little extra not a whole other serving and anytime that I see This lady’s face. She always has a smile on it and she always makes me laugh. I wanted you to take this review into heart because I have given if you look at my reviews a lot, I do this because local businesses deserve this. I know that China pantry has been in the food court in the Northpark Mall for a very long time. I would try the sweet-and-sour chicken or the mushroom chicken the eggrolls crab Rangoon‘s spring rolls excellent made by very experienced chef if I could give them six stars I would thank you so much for becoming a staple in my monthly go out to eat place and thank you for always putting the customer first And having a smile to go with it thank you so much I want to quote the late Tina Turner “simply the best”

Everything from the chicken to the chow main/low-main was horrific. Biting into the general chicken was like biting a burnt wet peice of paper. The food here used to be pretty good. Definitely not the case anymore. I am certainly surprised they are open.

Food is stale and is way over-priced. I feel like they got over on me. Won't be returning.

The orange chicken was not fresh. I think if it had been fresh it would have been tasty I could barely bite through a piece. Threw it away. Noodles were sticky and bland. Fried rice was fine
