First time visitor at this Patch friendly establishment. IYKYK Great atmosphere with plenty of music , giant burgers (1lb) and just about any drink you can think up from Sprite, to Budweiser, to Long Island Ice tea and everything in between. Very friendly staff hat welcomes you in and maintain funny conversation as you watch them cook your food while setting at the bar. (If you like solitude, go set in a boring booth. Lol) I freaking love this place an hour from my house and I promise to make many more return visits.
Parking: Plenty of parking on both sides of establishment.

It is a diner/bar atmosphere, amazing food, amazing cooks, amazing service, bartenders, everyone who works there are so friendly! Does allow smoking and I appreciate that. They have some amazing chili, burgers, and so much more! So hard to pick just one appetizer. Everyone just remember.. if u go to have the amazing food, tip ur servers, appropriately please, they deserve it!

Nice little bar and grill. Had the black Angus and fries with chili cheese nachos for an appetizer. Good and reasonably priced. Beers are big and very cold! Waitress was great and kept our drinks full. Definitely left feeling fat and happy

20% gratuity added to all carryout orders. If you pay with a debit or credit card, they might not be able to refund you. They aren’t really sure but had I drove back up there and showed the raw burger, they said they would have tried to refund the price of the burger. I wasn’t interested in making an almost 30 minute round trip back for a “maybe”. I paid $15 for a raw 1/4 LB burger and an order of fries. Lesson learned.

Really nice folks work here. Cheese burger is pretty darn good too!
I just stopped in to catch up with some old friends. I know or use to know everyone like Norm on Cheers ?. But now I don't get in there much anymore.They should remodel some. Not too much. But updating from the last century wouldn't hurt. Make the seating and walking paths better and more cozy. Doubt it will happen. The best food was the pork tenderloin. But I got a small one last time. They use to be huge! I know stuff has went up but don't cut the food just raise the price.At the place I think it's called Dowds catfish? It's by Atwoods. The tenderloin there is way too big to eat at one time. With the sides it's impossible. It's 20 something with a drink too. But you get 2 meals out of it so totally worth it! Probably 3 or 4 meals for others. I'm a big eater.
Parking: It's a small lot. Needs to expand the volleyball field into parking and more covered outdoor beer garden area. Have bands and entertainment more too.

From one foodie to another…the food is bomb!!I mean FRESH, tasty and they even have fried okra!They have a modern day jukebox and it they have the latest music.This place is so chill and cool.You just come in, take a seat, and order…no riff raff at all.Today (Wednesday) is family day and I choseFat & Happy for dinner — brought the whole family —my man and 9 yr old son (I know just three of us, ?).We will be back.
Kid-friendliness: My 9 yr old son felt comfortable and he enjoyed a 12-inch corn dog!!! I mean like the corn dogs at the fair! He was so fat & full!!I was like…d@mn right!! ??????

I frequently have people tell me that a place has good burgers. Those people are usually wrong. But Fat and Happy's burger did not disappoint me. The burger was flavorful and I would definitely go back for another one. The fries don't come with it, so I got a separate order and there were plenty of fries. Also, I ordered not-on-the-menu cheese curds which were AMAZING.Atmosphere is dark with enough fun lighting to eat and see by. Music was fun, loud enough, but not too loud.

Fries were so greasey. Our food was extremely overdone. Then got charged more than the special was listed. They should honor the price posted. We were extremely disappointed. We had always loved this place. Couldn't get French Dip, because they had no AuJus. Won't go back.
