Monday, Jul 21st. 2025 at right at 11:00 a.m., I witnessed a waitress switch the rugs by the prep area with bare hands, mind you. Then without washing her hands start filling the coffee and water bottles that they bring to the tables. GROSS!!!

It’s one of my favorite - if not my favorite - breakfast place to go to in the Joplin area. They open early, the food is on the healthier side (not coated in grease like other places). It is a little pricier than other breakfast’s restaurants, but not enough to break the bank. With the extra $ you definitely get better, fresher food. 10/10.
Parking: Parking can be tough past 9am, they get busy quick.
The owners Greg & Ginny are finally pulling the trigger on Child-Free Sunday Brunch. No children under 16 will be allowed from opening until 4pm on Sundays and most all of us give you a rousing round of applause! Ginny told me that the amount of people that end up having to wait extended periods on Sunday will now be able to get in, get fed and gtfo without getting stalled by some baby-factory family that doesn't buy any of the higher profit items like mimosas. They split a waffle between 5 kids and clog up a table for 2 hours. Not anymore. If they could do the same thing with the elderly, this place would be Utopia.

This is a good place but for a foodie it's a little healthy. I know that's the point but gotta tell it how it is. The million dollar bacon is a definite order, biscuits and gravy are good as well. Joplin First Watch is a nice place with friendly staff. Give it a try if you haven't already.
