Great Service! Large party of 15, and our server was awesome! The food was good and came out exactly as ordered. Chicken chunks are a huge portion and very tasty. Chicken Wings were also great with the paired sauces. Appetizers seemed to be prepared frozen items and were just okay.
We enjoy this place and have never had a terrible experience. We will definitely return in the future

My homegirls and I traveled to Joplin, MO for a lil girl's time. Stopped in at HHW. Friday, we sat in the dining area and sampled various flavored hot wings, Cajun and honey gold were finger licking good. Not to mention the fried green beans and fried mushrooms. On Saturday, we chilled in the sports bar area, a more relaxed atmosphere. Each of us selected the fried catfish. It was cooked to our perfection: "hot nice and crispy". We added fried okra, and creamy coleslaw. Yummy, yummy, yummy. Thanks to the cooks and all our servers who promptly brought out the food and continually checked to see if we were okay and if we needed anything. Most of all thanks to the owners, Floyd and Jackie Hackett, for everything!!

Got a to go order pulled pork dinner with hush puppies and fries for the sides and it came with 10 fries and 3 hush puppies..... very disappointed in the quantity vs price paid. The hushpuppies were good and the pulled pork was okay. Fries were cold but that I believe was due to the time from hacketts to where I was. I most likely wont order from here again.

Hackett's is the best wing place! And if wings aren't your thing, they have really great menu options. If you're thirsty, they have a lot of beer on tap and special cocktails. We recommend one of their tasty bloody Mary's.
