My husband and I came here on 9/14/25 We have been sitting here for over 30 minutes waiting on our food. The restaurant has 4 tables with people. Thats it. The waitress made excuses. Then we found out that our food had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while.

The only reason for an Iron Skillet is the buffet. Until the buffet returns my money will not be spent here.
We stopped here on our way into Joplin and it took forever to get our food. Then I got chicken parmesana and the noodles were like rubber. Probably should've just stuck with breakfast type food if I wanted it to be good. The store attached is awesome tho.

Smothered steer burger with hash browns and Mac and cheese - 9.7/10 overall
Great atmosphere and the attitude of the waitresses is incredible, Mrs. Carrie really gives you that at home feeling and Mrs. Heathers cooking is unmatched.
Special thanks to both of those wonderful ladies for working so hard, and being so nice.

I took a friend there to check out the food court. Disapointed, we turned to The Iron Skillet as I had great memories of it. No more Buffet, they got my chicken sandwich wrong ( i got a piece of chicken drowning in Tomato sauce an spagetti that did not look fresh or appetizing. After i complained, the single waitress got me the same piece of chicken in a bun. Pointing at the description (Lettuce, tomato, pickle and french fries) I asked why i didnt get those. I got my fries in a skillet and another had a tired piece of lettuce, one slice of onion, 2 slices tomato and a few pickles.
Nope, not going there again!

I paid $17 for a breakfast to go order. The portion was ridiculously poor. Untop of that I did the toast and biscuit was missing. With the high prices they are robbing us with the lil and short portion of food.

The food was burnt and hard rock. My first time and last cost 40.00 for i fed my dog. The waitress ask me if I want them to do it. No I dove 10 hours non stop wanted to eat not going to wait another hour to half hour when she should never bring to table to being with. Talk to the manager now downstairs standing there good 20 plus and I watch her she never went talk to them. So yap never stop here a again or any other. August 15 2025. You all should never try fed truck drivers that crap you have no respect. I run all 52 states I'll tell anyone how you are if I hear them coming there
