Food is typically reliably good. The only issue is sometimes it takes a while to get your food. There have been multiple times it's taken roughly 45 minutes to get a few wings and fries. That's my only complaint, other than that the food is always good and the wait staff is always good.

This an amazing establishment, amazing food, and mostly great service, only thing we didn't like was asked for extra onions on a burger and was given 3, but as far as anything else, AMAZING!

I hands down loved my experience here. Clean place! The boneless wings here are now my favorite. I will come here from now on instead of Buffalo Wild Wings because they have messed up my food I can't tell you how many times!

The place was pretty nice and it was clean and plenty of tvs for entertainment. It was not very busy, but our burgers took a long time. My burger and onion rings were room temp at best, my ladies fries were hot and burger was luke warm. During our visit we watched the bartender stand and visit with one couple 95% of the time. Our server was very friendly.

I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant than I was at Jefferson’s on Memorial Day 2025. After being seated and ordering drinks our waitress waited over ten minutes to come take our order. 30 minutes later she had not returned with our appetizer, our order, or even to fill our drinks. After waiting 30 minutes I asked to pay for our sodas and we’d leave. I expected since we’d been in there 40 minutes and were completely ignored that they’d comp the drinks, but no, they had the audacity to charge me for them after ignoring us the entire time never once refilling them. There were 3 other tables eating at the time so it is not like the restaurant was busy. They were just too busy playing on their phones and jibberjabbing to worry about their customers. Also there wasn’t a single adult in any kind of leadership role in the building. It was a crew entirely made up of teenagers running the show. I’ve been to Jefferson’s in Alabama and Georgia and always had a pleasant experience but this being my first visit to the one in Joplin it has soured me on any more visits. As we were leaving one girl that was not our waitress hollered at us that it wasn’t their fault we weren’t taken care of. Yes, it was. It was entirely your fault. We definitely will NEVER be back.

This review comes from somebody that frequents this location often. Also, my daughter and I frequent this location often… this is not based off one bad day. I travel full time for work so I observe a lot of establishments. Food is always great here, service is always great… usually always great vibes. My only issue is “manager” Billy. His behavior effects on the staff directly affects the customers. I’m not sure where the corrections need to be made but it’s not good when an observant customer and easily observe this issue.

I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the team at Jefferson’s for such a memorable experience.
It’s not often you find a restaurant where the manager personally steps in to ensure your visit is truly one-of-a-kind. From being seated right next to the restroom despite plenty of available tables, to the 30-minute window of quiet reflection time before even being acknowledged, everything felt so thoughtfully orchestrated.
The oysters, served old and with such a unique aroma, were an adventure in themselves — definitely not your everyday meal.
But what stood out most was the manager’s refreshing approach to customer feedback: confidently talking over me, subtly implying I was overreacting, and making it crystal clear that customer concerns are a low priority.
It’s rare to meet leadership that’s so unshakably committed to their own vision, no matter how the guest feels. That kind of consistency is hard to find these days.
I sincerely hope Jefferson’s corporate leadership recognizes the bold culture being fostered here — it’s certainly an experience I’ll never forget.

Or keep to myself 😎 Rest assured I am never coming back, between us that whole trip was lame.

Overall, 4 stars 🌟
Server, excellent
Food, great. Pickles could have been a little more brown but they had a good crunch. The sweet potatoes had a yummy glaze dip that came with them. The steak fries had a nice Cajun seasoning.

Food was mid. Staff spent so much time messing around, we waited more than 30 minutes for a burger and macaroni and cheese. We could hear the staff running around in the back, yelling, cussing, screaming. Won't be back.
