I have been here once before for breakfast and it was really great food. This time I went for lunch while in Joplin. I had a hankering for Chicken Fried Chicken so that is what I ordered. Unfortunately it failed in every way. This did not taste anything like chicken fried chicken should taste. It basically tasted like frozen chicken strips that was fried with catfish in the frier at the same time and they topped it with a little bland white gravy. Never again will I go here to eat lunch. Maybe for breakfast, but not for lunch!

The reuban was awesome, and I love fried mushrooms!( No one has them anymore. ) When you go in, ask for Hannah! She is efficient, very friendly and she knows her customers. I will definitely go back.

What a wonderful diner. We were passing through the area and stopped for breakfast here. The food was great. Large portions and great tasting. The pancakes are some of the best restaurant pancakes we have had. The meatlovers omler and country skillet were also amazing. 5 people ate breakfast here, and it was less than $50. Pur waitress was great. Thank you for the experience we were looking for.

We have been twice first time we had the lunch and 2nd time we had the breakfast and both was delicious I would highly recommend. The service was fast and everyone was super friendly. Has a very small town diner feel.

Kind people and delicious food, I can't wait to take my wife next time. I love these kinds of shops so much more than the major franchises, and this place is why. Thank you so much for setting the example that other cafes should be like. Local friendly service with a smile and amazing food that doesn't require you to sell a kidney. My brother and I stopped in, and I know he has already returned getting the same great experience, making me jealous.
Parking: It is not the greatest but appears to be plenty of room for cars and smaller trucks. Trailers might be tougher depending on the fullness of the gravel lot next to the concrete lot.

Came here with the kids for our first time. The prices are great and the portions are excellent. The kids loves there meals but the toast tasted like it was burnt. My daughter wouldn’t eat them. My step son enjoyed his burger and fries. My other son enjoyed the chicken nuggets. That being said we would try this place again.
