This is my favorite Chinese place of all time. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't give it a go.

I went and did a call in order, I ordered 2 cashew chickens with the cashew sauce. And 1 general those chicken. First off the sauce was spilled in my sack it was stapled where I couldn't look till I got home. The general two was hard and hardly no sauce. And when I was waiting, a guy with a pony tail and a beard, the hair fell into the food on the buffet, that I'd reason why one of the reasons why I do normally call in orders.lotus garden used to be really good. Not anymore I will order from here.

Not a lot of food on the buffet. But they have what I eat. So it's a win. The server was very sweet. The food was pretty darn good.

The best and cheapest around. We stop in to eat almost every time we're in Joplin and it just happens to be the boss lady's favorite.

I've been coming here for over 12 years. They have watched my son grow up. We love it here. The food is always super good, and it's the only place you can find the cheese balls. Their egg rolls are the best homemade ones in town. Will always come here!!

Unprofessional and presumably untrained server made it a very unpleasant experience. Broke several cardinal rules of service, including complaining about tips in earshot of diners. Food, as always, was good. I have my favorites and those that I skip. This place never was the Four Seasons. So I do not mind the tradeoffs to get a decent buffet at a reasonable price. But subjecting your customers to this treatment is a bad business move. I'll look elsewhere for a while, until the inevitable staff turnover happens.
