I love this place for quick and inexpensive Chinese food. That is also probably the best bang for your buck... Drive-thru or eat in side.

First visit was tonight, dine in. It was recommended to me since I was in Joplin for the evening. The general chicken was out of bounds. And the complementary egg drop soup was fantastic. Fastest service ever on dine. Strongly recommend!

We've never eat in always took it to go. They give it to you all wrapped up. Only a time or two was the taste a little off but never bad. Orange chicken, chicken lomein, beef lomein chicken fried rice, egg drop soup & 4 egg rolls was usually our order.

Went today April 18 food was bad had to throw it away chicken n rice over cook only 5 pieces of chicken in it hot n sour soup all sour with onions it worst tasting everuse to be good don't know what happen maybe new cook not going back

I got takeout here before. It it’s been a while. I asked someone today where they go for Chinese food in Joplin and he suggested Lotus Xpress and specifically the MeMe chicken. Well I agree it’s very good! The pot stickers… wonderful! Crab Rangoon… amazing! Thank you! You will see me again!

We recently moved to the area and have finally found our new FAVOURITE CHINESE FOOD!!! It's seriously the best Chinese food I've had since moving back home from living in China for 3 yrs lol but seriously, everything is super flavorful and completely on point! We got the garlic chicken and meme chicken which were both absolutely delish! The hot and sour and egg drop soups are both available for FREE at their self serve soup bar! You can even add all the yummy lil fried crispy pieces you want to your soup. My son specifically wanted egg drop soup but they were out and it was very close to closing time. Without us even having to ask, they said they were going to whip up a fresh batch and it would just be a few min. Now that is service! Ohhhh AND while my kiddo was waiting, they brought him over a sample of the pineapple boba smoothie drink and it was also INCREDIBLE! We literally went back and got the exact meal to go the very next day! 😅 And after writing this review, I'll be going there for lunch and probably getting enough for dinner for everyone else! Lol. The price is right, too! We love this place and appreciate how awesome and thoughtful all of the staff were to us. 🙏 Honestly it's rare to find these days around here and we're incredibly grateful and will be bringing our business here multiple times per week. 😁😁😁 I gave one 🌟 for atmosphere because the place is about as basic as it can get, not exactly first date material lol but places look like this when they're focus is on keeping the food good and the prices low. *chefs kiss*
The Sesame Chicken is literally frozen pre-made box chicken over a sauce that isn't Sesame. It's thick, probably canned, and the wrong color.
The taste isn't bad, but you can literally make it at home for cheaper. Also the smell is horrendous, like literal garbage.
The staff is really friendly though, and it's not dirty or anything. Most Joplin Chinese seems to use the frozen processed meat
