Great food I had the traditional breakfast burrito and it was awesome. First time I ate there. I can't wait to try something else

Overall: Lucy's serves up good Mexican food at great prices with great service too! Food: 4 Quesadilla: You can choose from any of the meats that they have. We got it with carne asada. It's a little small, but it was filling enough with the rice and beans. Chimichanga: Again, you can choose any tule of meat. We got it with carne asada. This was a little different from the chimichangas that I had on the west coast. It was smaller, less deep fried, and used a queso, but it was still pretty good. The queso was especially nice. I just wished it was crispier like the ones of the west coast! Lunch Enchilada Plate: Two enchiladas come with the meat of your choice and red or green sauce. I got it with red sauce. It needs a little more sauce in my opinion. California Burrito: This is not a typical California burrito with French fries in it, but it was still very tasty and it was HUGE. The carne asada is super tasty. It taste chargrilled, and it has a nice crisp on the outside. Service: 5 The servers at this restaurant are super nice and very polite. Ambiance: 3 Lucy's is a sit down restaurant, but it isn't as fancy as some of the other ones in town. It is still good for a quick lunch or dinner.

First time eating here. went with my neice and thought we would try it. wasn't impressed. order was wrong. way better Mexican restaurants in Joplin. like Vallarta. should of went there. the food here I did not like . tortillas were ok. Pepsi was good. chips were stale and not warm like other places food did not taste good. and not only that. the service was bad. guy that waited on us was rude. I told him thank you. have a good night and he just knodded his head. but he was rude whole time of waiting on us. I will not go back.

Got the lengua tacos. Not bad but they didn't bring me any sauce. Had to steal some from another table. Also, had the carnitas. Good. Beans and rice were good too.

This place was alright. I read the reviews & was really looking forward to eating here. But it just wasn't the best. Our queso was cold & didn't have much flavour. My chicken was over cooked. & the beans are soupy.

We tried this place for the first time about a month ago, knowing it has been here for several years. But we were wanting to try somewhere different for breakfast so we gave them a try and the food is absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced. It has became one of our top choices for breakfast, we hadn’t had dinner yet but will definitely try it out

The food is always excellent, and is truly authentic. This is coming from a Texan and Mexican. The menudo reminds me of home and the Pollo con queso is also amazing. Nothing here has been bad. It's my go to!

Authentic Mexican food. Everything was delicious. Prices Fair. service was great. Quiet atmosphere was not crowded at all. Even on a Saturday night.

I have been meaning to eat here for AGES and finally, after the billionth person told me how good it is, my husband and I finally went. It's good, guys! Oh my! Started with the guacamole as we always do. Theirs was a good version but not my favorite ever. I thought it needed more lime juice and salt. Preference only. And it was still yummy. Guac is my jam! For entree, I chose the Chorizo tacos topped with a pickled slaw. I LOVED them!! So wonderfully good. Excellent flavor and totally indulgent. Hubby got the Tacos al Pastor with rice and beans and he loved as well. The rice and beans did not taste boxed or canned so maybe they were freshly homemade?! If not, they chose an excellent product. So my bummer was the pork tamale. It didn't come served with a sauce on top so it was kinda dry. Not in a bad way; I'm just used to sauce. Unless the no-sauce was a mistake? I did think they were good though. Just needs a nice chili sauce on top. But the Tortas y'all! Insane. They are HUGE but oh so stinking good! Best I've ever had. I can't even express how much you need to eat this torta. Hubby and I Door Dashed a torta like 2 days later because we couldn't stop thinking about it. Overall - we really liked this place. It's small but mighty. We will go back and back and back again.
