Unfortunately, they were amazingly slow for a fast food restaurant. And the front counter people need to be taught not to constantly wipe their eyes, hair and noses with the same hands as they are handing you glasses and food.

We went to get two sandwiches to go waited 45 min for the order. Then the sandwiches were not even correct we ordered clubhouse and got just a regular sandwich. They did not have people at the front for people to order. And when she was there she was doing other things not watching counter u had to call her over.
When I got tired of waiting after 45 min I went up asked if we were ever getting our order. And was told oh sorry for the wait it’s will be out in a minute.

McAlister's always delivers quality food with excellent service. I especially like the choose 2 and always get the McAlester Club 1/2 sandwich and cup of broccoli cheddar soup. It's just enough to be feeling without being too much.

I have been going to McAlisters for years even before it was put in Joplin. Here lately at the Joplin location, the food has been cold, potatoes overcooked every time, staff is rude 90% of the time, and the quality has drastically changed.
This is upsetting, especially with the prices you pay for a meal compared to me going to a nicer restaurant.

I am just done eating here unless in Springfield or just ordering tea.

I hope someone at corporate sees this and makes some changes. Please.

We've had acceptable meals at the franchise that's near our town, so I believe the issues are just this branch. Roast beef sandwich & broccoli soup flavorless, can't believe a fast food place needs to add salt but those 2 need it. Got back to our hotel and they left out the pickles for all 3 meals. The food definitely doesn't look like the photos. We also waited absolutely forever for our to-go order, even though they weren't busy in the least. 2 dine in tables were only customers there, and now I can see why. I turned to my daughter and said, Joplin folks seem sad and crabby. She agreed. There's something about this town that's very off. Second time in 10 years we've passed through. What's going on?

I did a work lunch pick up. Was super easy!! Walk in, go to the pick up area and my lunch was there, hot and ready!

The quality of my order usually depends upon the method of how I order. If I call my order on, it is always excellent. If I go in and have my food it's always excellent. However if I order my food through the mobile app, no matter what it is I order it's always messed up. The staff though... Gosh I can not not tell you how kind they always are. They fix it every time no matter how small. Me and my coworker order from there at least once a week and they know our names walking in the door. The customer service is THE MAIN THING that keeps us co.ing back on and the food is great too but the customer service it's 🤌🏻

Just ordered tea wanted to relax and their tea is really good. Didn't give me my glass told me to just sit anywhere had to go back up and ask for my cup. Half the tables were all dirty with other people's left over food and trays, guess they didnt think they needed to clean the tables, and it wasn't that busy only about 5 customers
