Caprese salad is excellent! Fresh basil makes it very good. All meals are excellent. Quiet yet elegant atmosphere

We visited for our anniversary and splurged on steaks. I had a filet topped with a mushroom and arugula. My husband had a new york strip. The garlic mashed potatoes were very good, and both our steaks were perfect. I recommend their greek salad, it's excellent. I really like mushrooms but this one had a very strong flavor of balsamic vinegar-- the only drawback to our visit.

Went in and was seated very quickly. Finally about 10 min later we were brought waters and asked about drinks. After 15 more minutes of waiting on drinks we decided it wasn’t worth the wait. We were hi get to be fair but it seemed the waitress was over worked, yet the restaurant was fairly empty she was the only server it seemed. But we never got checked on during our confusingly long waits and decided to move on. Would have loved to try the food but bad service isn’t worth it.

One of my favorite restaurants! I drive over an hour just to eat here. Everything is good but the Tour of Mythos and pesto chicken are my favorites.

I tried Mythos for the first time today. I ordered the Tour of Mythos for lunch. It came with a soup or salad. I got the tomato soup and it was awesome. The entree, however, was one of the worst things I have eaten in ages. It was presented well, but the smell and taste were really bad. I noticed someone else next to me ordered the same thing. She didn’t even try it from what I could tell and just got a to go box to be polite I assume. Maybe it’s supposed to taste and smell like that, but to be a dish that people who aren’t familiar with Greek food are likely to order, it should come with a warning. I assume the steaks and other dishes are great. Maybe I just don’t like Greek food, but this dish was not for me at all. I have to say though, the service was good and the soup was very good. Just really disappointed that the signature dish “A Tour of Mythos” was so bad.

I only say would not recommend because our personal opinion is there are far better options in Joplin. Our waiter was definitely new (considering that fact he did great!!!) however, we felt his trainer should have stopped by at least once to see how things were going (example; we were never asked if we’d like another glass of wine after our 1st, with that said our waters were well taken care of by many that would pass with a pitcher) We were recommended by a coworker, that actually set up our reservation and we were supposed to have his recommended waiter, but got the trainee instead. Again, all things considered we felt the trainee did a great job! We both had the filet, definitely had far superior in joplin alone. The baked potato was ok, the vegetables were not impressive at all. The tour of mythos appetizer was good, bread wasn’t anything great, but dipping oil hid that fact lol. Overall worth trying if you’ve never had Greek food, as what we tried in that palate was interesting and yummy.
