Former employee here. I was hired on the understanding that I was going to be a shift lead. Only to get on and be just another crew member. I was told that I was being trained for the position, but that was a complete lie. The people running that place are crooked. Also the food is trash and the standards of cleanliness are basically non-existent. I really can't believe the Joplin Health Department hasn't shut it down yet.

Was told to pull aside to wait, that's fine until 20 minutes later we finally got our food, and it wasn't even half spicy, half regular like we had asked at the drive through box and window. No sauces, no silverware, Mac n cheese sucked, fries were cold and limp, chicken was barely hot, we would've taken it back but we were on a tight schedule and were already 20 minutes late because of it. All of this could've been brushed aside if we were treated a little nicer as well.

Terrible customer service!! Lady with the Blue hair and dirty shirt was really rude. Also came out to the dining area and asked if we stole the container for the small lids. Not to mention that the whole dining area was full.

Got home, they forgot our biscuits, returned to the store to get them, the manager said we needed the entire meal to get our order of biscuits, had to return home for the meal just to the store who closed their lobby at 8:30 waited 45 minutes for them to remake our meal, will never eat here again, mediocre food, horrible experience, 3 wasted trips, we live out of town btw.

I am not an American so am not familiar with the menu. I asked the girl if they had a three piece dinner and she responded and gave me a look like I was from Mars. I ordered the 3 piece and a side order of Mac and cheese. I told her it was to go. She gave me what I can only assume were the pieces that had been there all day. I got 2 small thighs and a wing. When I got back to my hotel room, I find out I never had a spoon to eat the Mac and Cheese with or any napkins to clean my fingers after eating my Mac and Cheese with them. She might have just been having a crappy day but the customer shouldn’t have to be the release for her.

First, the restaurant was freezing cold and I sat there shivering while eating my over fried, tough shrimp dinner that had sat under a light for probably a couple of hours. The restaurant was filthy and the windows were even filthier. None of the tables were clean. After sitting there for about 10 minutes, I finally got up and went outside to get warm. This was my first visit ever into a Popeyes restaurant and I won't go back. The restaurant had no adult supervision. I can't say how their chicken dinners are but the shrimp dinner, which consisted of about 7 pieces of over breaded shrimp, a cold biscuit, and one side, was awful.

The lady taking orders was kind of abrasive kind of a little rough. Didn't make it a pleasurable experience.
I ordered a whole bunch $33 worth and I got to the window and they said that they couldn't break $100.00 cash.They just proceeded to hand the hundred back to me and I don't carry card on me. Super disappointing 6pm 4/20/24And they were out of popcorn chicken and shrimp, another disappointment added on.

Purchased 6 wings, no sauce. Side of Mac and cheese combo. Charged .80 extra for Mac and cheese. Got home received 6 small dried out, shriveled wings with a pasty sauce on them and mash potatoes. We live 7 miles away to far to return. 1st and last visit to this Popeyes!

Used to be my favorite chicken spot, but something happened in the last couple of years that drastically changed that. For a while I wouldn't even visit due to the food being so bad and the restaurant so dirty. I went back a couple weeks ago and it was just 'meh'. I am not super impressed these days, but I sure used to be.
