I walked across the parking lot from the La Quinta to grab a hot chocolate and a white chocolate mocha which taste great. But I was the only one there waiting on those two drinks to get done. So I stepped outside and took four Vapes off my pen and as I was coming back in the girl came to the door and told me I can't smoke outside her door (no ones there) and I told her I was done already and it was Vape not smoke. She told me it's the same thing 🤔 and just gave me a look. Now I kind of wish I didn't give them a $2 tip In 5° weather

Upon arriving and waiting to order noticed that there was a trainee working she was trying her best to make the orders ahead of ours. Then noticed other employees standing around and whispering and laughing at said trainee. Sad to think that people still act in this manner. Shame on them! Hope they get reprimanded for their behavior!

I stayed at the la quinta next door for a few days and would go into this Starbucks for coffee, and the batistas were so nice and friendly. They always made my drinks so well, and always waved good bye to me when I would leave. If I lived in Joplin, this would be the only place I would get my coffee.

Basically your standard Starbucks. There is an easy, relaxed feel to the overall environment. Although I got to admit I personally get annoyed by number code locks on bathrooms. . .is this really necessary?? Are these bathrooms in some sort of danger?? Staff was pleasant in spite of being very busy and training a new employee on top of it all--kudos. Good job y'all.
