We went tonight for the first time and we were not disappointed! I had the $11.99 meal which comes with one meat, two sides and a piece of cornbread. I had the catfish with french fries and okra. Everything was hot, crispy and delicious! I couldn’t finish it all myself. I shared my fries and cornbread with Michael. He ordered the 5 jumbo chicken wings and they were definitely jumbo!! We joked that maybe they were from a small turkey! It was a pleasant atmosphere and the owner is super nice! There are several other specials we want to try and we will definitely go back! ☺️

The fried chicken and collard greens were a comfort food masterpiece. The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a delicious blend of seasonings. The collard greens were tender, flavorful, and not overly bitter. Kid friendly atmosphere with games to keep them entertained. Owner was very friendly! Great good and great experience!

This was straight trash! Fake macaroni and cheese. Mixed greens out the can. They put their seasoning which has way too much pepper in it on EVERYTHING! The pork chops had a pool of grease on top. Who wants to eat with plastic intensional! Then THE PRICE! Two dinners FORTY ONE DOLLARS ARE YOU SERIOUS! You should be ashsmed of yourselves. Soul food ….NOT!🤬

Was excited to learn meatloaf was on the menu tonight! it was delicious, as was the macaroni and cheese and greens. Tasty cornbread too! Thanks!

Very disappointed !!! My son found this place as we were passing through Joplin last night. We decided to give it a try. The food we received was descent, nothing spectacular. But the prices were RIDICULOUS considering the serving sizes. 16 plain drummettes $30. Order of french fries (pictured) $8. Spaghetti dinner (2 scoops of spaghetti and a small piece of garlic bread/pictured) $14. I spent well over $60 for 16 plain drummettes, 2 orders of fries, 2 scoops of spaghetti, and a small piece of Texas toast. Absolutely ridiculous !!! Needless to say, I won’t be back.

If you have not tried this place yet, you are missing out! Service was phenomenal, the food absolutely exceptional and very fairly priced, and the atmosphere is absolutely desirable. If you're looking for soul food that hits the spot and makes you feel good, check this place out!

Hands down the best and juiciest fried chicken I've ever had in my life. I tried my hubby's catfish and it was phenomenal too! Very highly recommend anyone eat here. I noticed they have a kids menu too if you have little ones.

As a hispanic couple, we indulged in the feeling of so much flavor. We were even offered hot sauce and greeted with free margaritas. The butter cake was FANTASTIC! Cane in at midnight orders nuggets they where out but she went out of her way cut up some nuggets and dropped em for me and FIRE they where then the margarita was on point with the heavy pour burger mouth watering all around good food good people awesome service, keep up the good work
