We went tonight for the first time and we were not disappointed! I had the $11.99 meal which comes with one meat, two sides and a piece of cornbread. I had the catfish with french fries and okra. Everything was hot, crispy and delicious! I couldn’t finish it all myself. I shared my fries and cornbread with Michael. He ordered the 5 jumbo chicken wings and they were definitely jumbo!! The fried chicken and collard greens were a comfort food masterpiece. The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a delicious blend of seasonings. The collard greens were tender, flavorful, and not overly bitter. Kid friendly atmosphere with games to keep them entertained. Owner was very friendly! Great good and great experience!
If you have not tried this place yet, you are missing out! Service was phenomenal, the food absolutely exceptional and very fairly priced, and the atmosphere is absolutely desirable. If you're looking for soul food that hits the spot and makes you feel good, check this place out!
